Most of you are over level 50 but most of you don't know that the Zakum Quest has released. First you have to meet your job's chef in Chef Residence of El Nath, then go to The Zakum Door.

Main problem is, transport, wizet is ebil and disabled using teleport rocks to/in Areas after Dead Mine I so the only ways to go to there is either walk or ask a priest to door you.

The Road to Zakums Door is famous for its big brother, The Cave of Trial III, here you can find very rare, rare as red drakes, a monster calls Bain. Bain is a level 90 slow but deals alot of dmg monsters. The spawn rate of Bains in Cave of Trial III is not bad so it makes many 5x not able to get to Zakums Door by simply walk to there. Our idbers have some solutions:

1)Smartest and only 5k, Door (even though the priest need to get to there by himself)
2)Put GIR in your party, we all know he can kill Bains now, even though most of the time he is afk....
3)Similar to method 2, but follow alot of high levels to get to there, however sometimes the high levels you meet are Fire mages...
4)GO with other idbers, it make you feel a bit more comfortable but still, easy to die.

*all thievies should have no problem on going to Zakums Door with Dark Sight but don't forget lava deals dmg)*

Conclusion: Method 1 is the best but we don't have an active IDB ~~slave~~ priest yet....

So yeah, I experienced the trouble of getting past Bains first hand. I think the best and most reliable method would be to get GIR to kill them as finding a Priest who would be willing to Door us might be hard.

Channel 3 tends to have a lot of people on the way to Zakum, as that is the only channel Zakum can be summoned on (though the other parts of the quest can be done on any channel). If you're looking for a party for the Part 1 PQ, that's a good place to find one.

Um...just having one strong character isn't a smart move for Zakum. Even 3 full parties of 3 digit-number leveled character barely beat them. Going just because you are level over 50 isn't that smart. And I don't think iDB has alot of 3 digits yet.

I dunno what anson is proposing but no characters with 2 digits in Zakum ^^

Thats not because of Zakums high defence, the reason is Zakum casted SUPER Weapon Defence Up that can turn all weapon damage done to Zakum become 1 so at that time, mages should start attacking.
