World of Warcraft / Maplestory comparison.
I have a friend that plays World of Warcraft, and I'd like to know, in which game does it take longer to get to level 60? Is there anyone who has reached level 60 in both games that can tell me?
If you'd like to host werewolf, please PM me. |

RE: World of Warcraft / Maplestory comparison.
From what one of my friends who plays WoW says about it, I think it takes much longer to get to 60 on there. He's been playing since like Christmas and is like level 2x i believe.

RE: World of Warcraft / Maplestory comparison.
Well, it took me about a month and a half on WoW to hit 60...
Could be the same on MS, just depends on how much effort you put in it. Personally, I think that WoW is a much more FUN and CHANGING environment to level in, opposed to MS which is killing the same monsters over and over. |

RE: World of Warcraft / Maplestory comparison.
Hmmm, it depends.... I don't play WoW that much to know, but as with anything, depends on how hard you play it. I mean on MS, skunk got to level 50 in like 2 weeks?
WoW would maybe take me 4-6 months to get to 60 (if I played it regularly) but I don't. You could easily get there in under 3 though, (you all know how slow I level in MS as well).... Overall, I would say that WoW is a much better game, relying on quests for most of your exp is so much more fun, but it does cost money to play, and there are like a bazillion servers (and all my rl friends are spread out on diff ones). So I spend most of my time on ms.... Not as big and free =P

RE: World of Warcraft / Maplestory comparison.
I don't know how long khaini has been out, but I have been playing it pretty hardcore since the day after it was released... I have a level 51 right now... So if it took me a month and a half to hit 60 on WoW (from hardcore play also) I can see how long it takes me to hit 60 in MS and compare

Of course, in OMS, no one will be reaching it for a long long time, and normal people may never reach it. I heard that someone in JMS is very close to getting to 200 though. RE: World of Warcraft / Maplestory comparison.
I've never played Maplestory , so I'll only speak for WoW. Leveling to 60 take like 2.5 to 3 months on average(It's possible to hit 60 if your are hardcore).

RE: World of Warcraft / Maplestory comparison.
Speaking from personal experience, it would depend on how much you play per day. It took me a total play time of about 12 days to reach level 60, and on a second character I made, a little under 11 days. So say if you play 5 hours a day, you can hit 60 in less than 2 months.

well you forgot about time spent so heres what ive done
ive joined ms coming from wow wow - 1month = 3x ms - 1month = 3x so its about even, ofcourse this is only regular playing like 5 hours here, maybe those rare sesions of 10 hours, afew 2 hour sessions strewn across, ect. but wow is more fun better looking and theres more to do more than just quests
