This forum is to be used as a number of medians, all of which concern the debate over weapons. Posting topics here should encompass one of the following, or at least stem into a similar range of topics:
1. Suggestions to be made on an individual set.
2. Hypothetical situations between classes of weapons.
3. "Philosophical" arguments about techniques of battling.
4. Discussion over price when comparing two weapons.
The title of this forum really says a lot about it: it's meant to serve as a tool for discussion when the topic is advice and/or comparison between weapons. This is not to be used as grounds for complaining about price and over-valuing, but rather a place to discuss the logistics of such terms between two or more weapons (this example is one of many, and has not been chosen for any special reason).
Due to the number of topics asking for advice on weapon sets, I thought I'd just lay out what we'd like to see. These are by no means requirements, but if you do not post with such topics, you are not likely to recieve many responses, and probably very few pertaining to what you are asking.
1. Please post your pet stats (HP, Attack, Defense, and Agility/Intel in some cases)
2. Please post your current set
3. Please post the budget you are working with. Even if you do not have a limit, please post a hypothetical amount. Often, there are posts about "dream sets." These are apropriate, so feel free to leave this out if it obscures the meaning of your post.
4. Please tell us whether you do 1-player, 2-player or both. (Also, include your goals for even more in-depth help -- do you want to do DoN? League fights? Boost battles? Quickfights? High score tables?)
That's about it! Just remember all other forum rules apply, and have fun!
CranEdit: The following still applies!

I'm going to put my Mod Hat on here for a moment, ~:> and remind you all that posting advice is about more than just listing a set of weapons. I have no idea to what extent this has been happening, but I saw it in a few places here so I figured it would just be best to give everyone a friendly reminder. That really does a person no good because they have no idea why they should do what you told them to do. I could tell them to use the following set:
Sparkshooter
Sparkshooter
Sparkshooter
Sparkshooter
Sparkshooter
Sparkshooter
Sparkshooter
Sparkshooter
But that wouldn't do them much good, would it? Backing up your posts with reason allows the people looking for advice to know they are getting sound advice, and not just advice from a person who really doesn't know what they are talking about.
Thanks - Your inactive mod friend. ~:>
