I'm considering organizing a Battledome League for the forums, much like the one Evil Genius ran before his unfotunate departure from IDB.

I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in participating, and would like to hear input and feedback from everyone else.

And for anyone who has never participated in one before, a Battledome League splits players up into different divisions based on their stats, and members within each division battle each other, and compete for rank, which is based on your win/loss/tie/participation record. Also, in this league, I think leaders of divisions will be able to move up a league after a certain amount of time, to keep things interesting, and ensure no one person dominates an undermatched division.

So, any thoughts or ideas as to a point system, how many divisions we'll have, limitations, periodic tournaments, prizes, or if we should even do this at all?

Trophies are back, so we can use them for showing rank and for tournaments.

I'd definitely be interested in this. And moving players up in the leagues is a good idea - *imagines a noobinator in the lowest league*

No longer on IDB, possibly still on the uploads page, but thanks to me no one can get to it anymore.

My guess though is NCW might've claimed ownership on it (I know Inu didn't create the system, but did he create the nifty little calculator?), because last time I checked it was still there along with guild wars, but it doesn't really matter, because the old one will be OUTDATED within a few weeks seeing as neopets practically threw proof that we were wrong about how the battledome works at us.

And I was hoping to find a new system of seperating people into divisions other than the old League Calculator, because people with stronger pets tend to be a little ronery in their divisions, and the weakers pets are thrown in a sea of pets and its a heck of a lot of harder to stand out.

Slightly off topic, but I can't help but wonder what happened to Evil Genius... can you tell me? I remember him being around...

I like the idea, but the calculator was made by Starry Night, now NCW member. Thus, you will have to ask for permission of use first. I would definately sign up though =)
