A hostel in Northern Hungary, 2:00 AM
The iron-wrought chains smashed again and again. Fragments of bone shot chaotically around the room as a cloud of dust blew up from the half-destroyed skeleton, with its killer drenched in blood and sherry wine, a fierce gleam in his eye. The man then turned and looked straight at me, a madness incomparable bubbling to the surface... I started running, running away from him, to anywhere but there...
The man jolted awake as he hit the dirty carpet floors lining the room. He rubbed his head slightly and checked his cheap watch -- it was 2 AM. He grunted ruefully as he climbed back up to his bottom bunk, trying not to disturb the German woman sleeping in the bunk to his left any more than he already did.
Ugh, I thought the drugs would make the nightmares go away. That's what Dr. Riam said, right?
He quickly downed another two pills and took a quick swig of his water, trying to force himself back to sleep. He knew it wouldn't work, of course. As soon as he closed his eyes, the demons would be back, trying to drag him back into the darkness. All he could wish as he fell back to sleep is that he could finish his backpacking trip soon so he could get back to Los Angeles. He was comfortable there. All of the Old World frightened him -- the depth of the cruelty soaked into the layers upon layers of violent, discordant history.
I just want to go home...
With that thought, he fell back to sleep.

This is the signup thread for Werewolf 64. This game will have an original plotline with some slight derivations and references to other significant games.
