ok im new to the whole battledom thing..and i heard that i need a battle set...so what should i get...

I would the lupe with a short term goal of 35 str 35 def. Also it would be good to know your budget/income.
less than 100k, income less than 1k/day:
I'd probably just get a blue scorchstone, double up on the scarab ring, perhaps add a caustic potion, not too sure what else is good for low budget battling.
Over 100k, income reasonable:
Get a Lab ray and don't train hp, only def and a bit of strength. As for set:
Blue SS
ice/stone club
scarab ring
Save for a Ylanas blaster
downsize is fine
caustic potion?
maybe an illusen's earth potion
purple sticky hand? or to make use of your balanced pet, perhaps a leaf shield or patched magic hat. I feel kind of obsolete, suggesting relatively old school weapons, but it's a start.

do i need to bring up all my stats or just like str and def..
do i really need mov
Movement is only useful in that there are a few weapons that require it before they will work fully. At your level and income, you wouldn't probably afford those anyway, so I wouldn't bother with it. Hit points and strength are most important, followed by defence (just my opinion, for what its worth).

movement is generally considered useless. You failed to mention your budget. 10k a day is a mil in 3 months, so I think getting a lab map is worth it. With a lab ray, then only training defense becomes useful in the long run
