Gots a question for everyone! Two, actually!

I had a SoS, but thought I would do better with a Pirate's Cutlass. Now I realize that the PC does not Always do the full range of icons of damage when one is using it in battle. So!

1) Which in your opinions is the better one to have in a plot battle?

2) What is the next step UP from the Pirate's Cutlass, both in number of icons and (decent) price?

Thanks for any help!
1.
1p is all about the number of icons, so PCC (Pirate Captains Cutlass) is better only if the opponent has a dark blocker. If not, Sword of Skardsen is better.

2p is more about the type of icons, and PCC is better because of the circulation of Dark shields that block Sos (Ghostkershield, Ring of the Lost, etc.)

No wonder it costs 6 million more.

There aren't really many more to upgrade to, but Faerie Slingshot and Ghostkersword can be looked into. Wand of the Dark Faerie can also be considered.
Agreed with mathbits, SoS is better for plots unless the opponent has a dark blocker. If you're upgrading from SoS, the next step is probably ghostkersword, but I think you get more out of training your pet.
Thanks much! I rarely fight two-person battles, so it is looking like I should perhaps have stayed with the SoS.

I agree about training up my pet. I can't touch a G-sword unless I work at things for the next ten years Toungue so we shall see how things go.
