Create-A-Weapon is a contest for those who have always wanted to see a specific weapon in the battledome. You can let your imagination run wild and create anything you like! This competition will be held monthly and trophies will be given out!

Creativity and impact will be valued during the evaluation of the weapons. Having the most powerful weapon (icon wise) will not get you more points. We look for ways to use stats which are not commonly used, weapons that are reasonable prices and new ideas! This month the theme is Regeneration!

This contest will run from the 1st of the month to the 20th. After the 20th submissions will be closed and a select few judges will judge the weapons and results will be given before the 1st of the next month. Where a new contest will start.

The number of submission will be limited to 2 per person.

Submiting a weapon is simple.

1. Have a name for your weapon
2. Include the number of icons dealt or defended
3 State weather your weapon is single use, multiple use, fragile. etc
4. Write any special effects your weapon has
5. Include a description for your weapons
6. Include a price for your weapon (must be realistic)
-Optional- Include an image of your weapon.

A very risky weapon to use but if it works, it pays off. Risky items are often underrated because people always want a sure deal when battling. This can help turn a battle around and that is what makes it intesting. it is not too overpowered either, very reasonable.

Price: 30,000,000 NeoPoints from the Hidden Tower, only available on Illusen Day. Avatar inflation will kick in as having both a Seed of Life and a Vampiric Sprout in your inventory while completing an Illusen's Glade Quest and Jhudora's Cloud Quest consecutively unlocks a secret avatar.

Use: Semi-Fragile (Breaks for the battle after third use)

Special effects: As the seed grows its offensive and defensive capabilities are weakened but its healing powers improve. When used with any Jhudora-related weapons equipped the seed transforms into a "Vampiric Sprout".

Description: Used by Illusen to grow Meridell's forests, this magical seed is now kept safe from corruption in the Hidden Tower. It is rumored that those pure enough to wield it will be greatly rewarded. KEEP IT AWAY FROM DARK MAGIC.



Weapon name: Vampiric Sprout

Price: N/A, obtained by corrupting a 'Seed of Life' by combining it with a 'Noxious Nectar'. Only craftable on Jhudora day.

Use: Multiple-Use

Icons:
Attack: Deals [(100% - % of remaining HP)/2]% of the opponents current HP in Darkness and converts it to Heak
Defense: 100%Light DefenseEarth Defense

Special Effects: When used, the sprout sends tendrils of darkness at the opponent, attaching to them and draining their life force.

Description: Once an artifact symbolic of Illusen's purity, this seed was corrupted by Jhudora's darkness.
Does my seed thing count as two weapons or can I make another, low-priced one?
The seed is considered as two separatate entries so I think you should not be able to make another, also I think that the seed of life is over powered, though the idea is good. I think I'll make mine later though...
Weapon name: Potion of Resurrection
Price: Fluctuating between 500k and 800k.
Use: Once per battle
Icons: Fire Fire Darkness Darkness
Special effects: [Image: equip_one.gif] Limit One.
At the end of the round which the potion is used(i.e. after all offensive and defensive stances are done), the potion changes the current hit points of your battle pet to 1. If your pet's hit points after damage is not 0, your pet's hit points changes to 0.

[Example:
Pet A has 20 HP. At the round Pet A used the potion, Pet B does 30 HP damage to Pet A. Pet A's HP is 1.
Pet A has 20 HP. At the round Pet A used the potion, Pet B does 10 HP damage to Pet A. Pet A's HP is 0.]

Description: Take revenge with this potion! Time it right, though.

I thought it was a little overpowered but couldn't think of how to balance it. Perhaps it should be a Cove item?
Weapon name: Sands of Time
Price: 5m (hidden tower, 4m common value)
Use: Once Per Battle
Icons: none
Special effects: Restores power bar on both sides, restores life 100% at end of turn, fixes all broken fragile and single use items on both sides other then other copies of itself (limit one)
Description: Don't let it slip through your fingers...

Essentially lets you reset the battle without withdrawing for 1p, for 2p it starts the battle over, and will eventually be 'banned'.


Weapon name: Power Negg Elixir
Price: 50k (r92) resells on TP for 200k+ but HTS
Use: Single use
Icons: none
Special effects: restores a % of your power bar, biased by int (10% at 10 int, 20% at 20... 100% at 100 int) Limit One
Description: Take a sip, and feel the new more powerful you.


Regeneration need not be of your life points.
Weapon name: Healing Fountain
Price: 3.5m
Use: Once Per Battle
Icons: Heak0-100%, *heal*opponent 0-100%
Special effects: Can not be equipped with another healing item
Description: A few drinks of this fountain could aid you in battle... or hurt you.

Can I enter again if I've won a previous one?
Weapon name: Potion of Dark Magic
Price: 12 mil in HT, 11.5-11.8 on TP
Use: Once per Battle
Icons: 5 Darkness 0-3 Physical
Special effects: Drains 25% of opponent's health 95% of the time and heal your pet the amount that it drains. Will kill your pet the remaining 5% of the time.
Description: Jhudora made this potion many years ago...do you dare to use it?
Air Faerie's Aura
Price: 8.5mil tower item
Use: Multi-use until it works, then breaks for battle
Effect: Completely blocks all air icons received. The total damage these icons would have dealt (AFTER stances) is doubled, then recovered by your pet. The item can be used until it blocks air icons, then disappears for the battle. Doesn't use healing slot.

Essentially a high-risk-high-reward item, the Aura adds another layer of strategy to the current rampant use of PCC (and higher up, Gsword) by adding an element of risk to using it, akin to SOS vs Gshield. An opponent will have to keep shuffling the weapons they use against you in the hope of avoiding the Aura. This would encourage more varied sets higher up. Of course, they could also seek to disable it as early as possible by throwing a weak air weapon at it, removing it from the battle, though this may require them to use a weaker set to accommodate. These more advanced strategies would add an extra layer to the 'dome in higher-end battles. It would also see some use in 1P, especially having use against the giant ghostkerchief. Though the recovery effect sounds somewhat overpowered, for a pet being hit by the PCC's 14 air maximum at 200 boost it would recover around 150HP, which is usually not a full recover for a pet fighting others with those stats. That, and each turn the opponent doesn't deal air icons is a turn wasted, and it's easily disabled by weak weapons. Again- high risk, high reward. The price reflects this since it won't always be useful and even when used successfully isn't necessarily game-breaking, but can also be a life-saver if used just right.

Description: A young neopet once rescued a water faerie, and in return, she blessed his sword with healing magic.
Price: A cool 8.5 million in the hidden tower, 8 million on the TP
Semi-Fragile, 40% chance to break when used
Icons: 10 Water 3 Physical
15% Heak every turn used, DOES NOT take up a healing slot

What's this? A ghostkershield breaker AND it heals? It is partially based off of the legend of Excalibur's scabbard, which protects its owner from injury. (only the theme is regeneration Toungue) This is a more offensively-minded healer designed for the 500 hp range, where a 15% heal is enough to matter, where such a weapon is accessible and where 13 icons is still usable. To make it more realistic and less easily abused, it will not break 60% of the time, which I think is decent enough to use.
