I am new to battling and dont really know where to start on equiping my yurble. any suggestings would be appreciated.

TRAIN, TRAIN and TRAIN! Your levels are high enough so you can do it, and I'd train up strength, defense and hit points to at least 55 in the short term, which will help you more than expensive weapons.
Some good CHEAP items that will be useful will be a Downsize!, two Scarab Rings, a Purple Sticky Hand and Leaf Shield. These are items that you'll find helpful at 55 strength. 55 defense, 55 max hit points. Personally I still don't see that it pays to train movement, but if want to play it safe in case TNT makes more weapons that are movement based, you can train that while it's RELATIVELY cheap as well.
If you have a budget that would leave you with additional nps for weapons AFTER considering training, repost for some weapon ideas, but I can't see anything in the weapon area at the moment that would help you as much as additional training.
