Yeah I don't like the huge icon variety Sad

fire is nice
price is nice

but other icons are not Sad

is still any good for 1P if u dual wield em?
Not really at least not in my opinion however if you paired it up with say a bod or wor then it should be very nice against 1pl. You should try to remember that it can be rather difficult to foresee what icons will be blocked in 1pl battles although at times they do seem to have a pattern from time to time.
Are you daft, or just trolling here?

Due to the large number of rounds, and large number of fights, what matters most for constants in 1p is average damage. - and even when it it completely blocked 20% of the time, Y-Blaster is still better than anything else in the same price range* - even if that other weapon was never blocked at all

Combine this with the fact that no current 1p challengers use F-Tab, SMH nor Scarab Ring and I have to wonder what you are even pretending to talk about.

*(save for Prickly Potion on weaker pets, but I suspect that talking about reflected icons here is a waste of my time)
From what I do remember some 1pl challengers do actually block a consider amount of certain types of icons. Such as Advisor Roos Hat and others. I was merely trying to point that out not expecting such a negative response. Oh well...everyone has a right to their opinion. Btw I did clearly state that is was my opinion.
I've got no problem with the Y-Blaster for one-player for about 90%+ of pets. It's inexpensive, powerful and for that vast majority of pets, if you're ever going to run into a challenger that can block all of its icons AND attack you as well, you're dead anyway. You're virtually always going to get some attack (actually most) of it through, and most one-player opponents don't have dual-duties that could block and attack with enough to counter, a pure shield isn't going to beat you, a reflector is pretty pointless and the vast majority of one-player opponents aren't going to match it on an icon for icon basis.

Well you have failed to back up your opinion with any solid evidence, and your current claim is mathematically wrong. Thanks for neg repping me for daring to disagree with it.

Advisor Broos Hat deals 12 icons and also blocks 5 air.

This means that if his defense boost is high enough to matter against your Str boost, Y-Blaster will only get 10.6 icons of damage through.

Thus if he uses it EVERY SINGLE ROUND, y-blaster is still better than Ramtors Spellbook, Scuzzys Comb, Staff of Righteous Fury, Bzzt Blaster or equal with Sword of Apocalypse and only a fraction of an icon behind Goo Blaster, Fungus Ray or Garoo Elite Blaster.

In any round he does not use the hat, the Y-Blaster comes out 1.6 to 2.6 average icons BETTER than any of those weapons.

Furthermore, since his Grimoire Of Thade just as many icons and applies against SoA and F-Ray, that means the only trade off

If we assume that you want to optimize damage, and if we further assume that he uses the Grimoire and the Hat with equal frequency, then the only decision is between Y-Blaster, F-Ray or GEB.

In rounds he doesn't use the hat: The blaster is ahead by 1.6 icons
In rounds he does use the hat: the blaster is behind by 0.4 icons.

That means that he has to use the hat 4 times as often as not use the hat for the blaster to come out behind....

So unless someone wants to do some testing showing that his moveset uses the hat more than 80% of the time, Ylanas Blaster is the single best constant for the price against the specific one player challenger you cited as an example of why Ylanas Blaster is not a good weapon in 1 player

Furthermore, even upgrading to more expensive constants is dubious here, as Wand of Reality, Bow of Destiny and Ultra Bubble Gun all have more air icons for the hat to block - the damage numbers there are going to be more dependent upon his current defense boost relative to your pet's strength boost, but the cost numbers start at 4 times as much as a y-blaster.
