I'm stuck in choosing between Fpot and Mmom. If you have experience with both, or have ever thought "that other freezer would have been better" your wisdom is greatly appreciated. The Fpot's water may be harder to block, but I'm not sure if the MMOM's physical gets blocked all that much. I understand the difference might be minimal, but ahhh I've had close calls before. As for my budget, I don't mind the price difference.

In One Player, the F-Pot easily wins. Physical is the most commonly blocked icon type there. But it's pretty negligible to base your choice on the One Player efficiency.

I'm not a Two Player battler, so I can only point out the hypothetical success of each: Faerie Tabard will hit both. Ghostkershield will only hit the Marbles. (What else do people use on their freeze turn besides shields, anyway? Offensively, I doubt anyone's running Tyrannian Army Math Tools, and Hobans Hat begins to lose its efficiency at that level (not to mention the problem of its own cost)).

What are you seeing people accompany their freezer with? That should answer the question of which you should get.

Edit: Nearly forgot about Heavy Blue Tunic: it blocks Water. Though it seems to be an unpopular choice because it becomes predictable if you battle the same people multiple times.

I used to be in favor of the f-pot, but i've leaned in the direction of the marbles since. I've found that most people are more likely to go with a constant + freezer in the first round rather than shield + freezer. If you do run into someone using a shield, the worst that will happen is that you come out even. There is the chance of someone going with a dual-duty that blocks the physical icons of the marbles but i'd say that's going to be fairly rare.
The other reason I like the marbles is it's price. Freezing potion is usually within 200K (if not less) of the marbles, and at that level of spending, you might as well spend that extra little bit for another icon. The other good thing about the marbles' price is that it's from the hidden tower and you're not really going to see a huge devaluation in the future so that makes it a sound investment

I've undergone the same shift in opinion as darwin, actually (I need to revise my F-Pot rating ). My 1P mindset has always been, quantity over everything else. But it's probably more than a little naive and Shattered's got a lot more 1P experience than me. In 2P though, MMoM wins quite easily. As has been said, freezer + constant tends to get used first round, in which case quantity is best. In the event of an early Burrow/Sink, both get hit anyway. And if a Shield is used, then if your own constant deals physical anyway, then stacking physical is works out for the best. In your case, Y-Blaster + MMoM is at worst 1 icon inferior to Y-Blaster + F-Pot, against a G-Shield.

Only fair to point out that I would take the HBT over both any day though, but it's certainly not to every battler's liking.
