Over here I'm taking AP English Lang & Comp. I didn't take any sort of class on it, as our school only offers one AP class (and that's English Lit & Comp.) but I'll be taking the test may 14th. I'm thinking if I do ok, I may take more AP tests next year; probably something bio related, and something calc related.
None for me.
I just have one question:
I'm in grade 10 right now, taking AP Chem I. Next year, I'll be taking AP Chem II. When do I take the AP Chem Exam?
I also will have AP Calculus in two years, as well as AP Physics.
Mathbits, I didn't realize some schools broke AP classes into two years o_0 You'd really need both years to take the test in the case of AP Chem, so keep everything from this year as study material and then take it next year.
Do you mean that you'll have AP Calc AB one year and AP Calc BC the next? Or will it be AP Calc A and then B? What you should do will depend on which it is.
Same question for Physics. Will you get AP Physics B one year, and then AP Physics C (Mechanics and E&M) the next? Or will you have AP Physics B over two years?
AP tests? Never taken one. They aren't offered much around here... Calc, LA, Bio. That's it.
I'm off to the honors college at a great engineering school with my Merit Finalist designation next year. Not a slacker or anything.

Me too! I'm going to be in the honors college at Texas A/M, majoring in Chemical Engineering. I'm going to AP out of my entire freshman year
Mathbits-You need to tell us how your classes are set up before we can give you appropriate advice. Can you sort of write out the "tracks" for each subject? For instance, math at my high school goes in this order:
Algebra I*
Geometry*
Algebra II
Precalculus
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC
*Many people did these in intermediate school, allowing them to take the calculus classes.
For Physics, Chemistry, and Bio, you could take the AP classes after the introductory level classes.
9th grade--Pre-AP Bio
10th grade--Pre-AP Chemistry
11th grade--Pre-AP Physics
As an aside, many people wonder whether to take AP Physics B or C. With a little studying, you should be able to pass the B test after an introductory physics course. Physics C is more narrow in its focus, but it includes calculus, and some people (like myself) just skip B and go on to C.
None this year, thank God.
next year however, AP English, AP Calc I+II, AP Music Theory.

Is anyone else planning on writing "THIS IS SPARTA" and then crossing it out in one of their free response questions? There's a huge Facebook group of people doing that. It works because the graders can't grade anything that is crossed out.
I just want to wish you guys good luck on your AP exams, they sound pretty hard (i think), i will be takin them in a year or so, which is going to stink

Haha, I'd be willing to take an AP Exam again just to do that.
