the exp rates are currently 8x exp + 8x drop, but I dunno if that's final, maybe we'll have a vote or something

Seriously though, Odin is 8x and after level 50-60 you still get that feeling of grinding, MapleGeek is 15x and thats ok, the 100x+ servers are not for serious play at all, I think if you want a semi-serious server, 20-30x exp might be best, and about 10-15x drop and meso..

IMPORTANT EDIT:-

if you havent already, make a copy of your maplestory folder for use on the private servers, GMS is updating to 0.54 Tomorrow/Today (depends on ya time zone, lol) and 0.54 client wont work on the private servers right away (needs some update or other, I think the info is posted somewhere on the Odin forums Mike/Graph)

At least is not *1000 exp rate and meso.

I'd love the extra meso, no pot problems.

Anyways, I was thinking of making exp rate on mine around x25 or so. I was also going to edit the code to allow for a variable to have an increased drop rate, as the only way to increase drop rates right now is to edit the database.

So exactly umm... what do we do to play this private server? o_o

Well, my server isn't up. It was just temporarily up yesterday (from my desktop, not server) to make sure people can connect and stuff.

If you want to connect to Mike's, I'm guessing he can contact you with info on how to play.
