I just finished the assignment that's been keeping me off of IRC and MS for the last 4 weeks. 
(it was a simulation of TCP, building on the previous assignment of simulating IP). It was a ton of work (something like 2500-3000 lines of code, plus 3000-4000 more for the code from earlier assignments), but it's a nice thing to put on a resume.
