I need to refresh endlessly until i get it on http://www.neopets.com/petlookup.phtml?pet=Kastraliss

I just want to be sure because I still suffer the snowbeast nightmare. I got him but i think it was painful to acquire it.

On the other hand. Kastraliss has
Bucket Of Mud
Freezing Potion
Jade Scorchstone
Pirate Captains Cutlass
Sludge Bomb
And stealing is useless.

The cutlass should be my main concern? I think that with some effort i could buy a Faerie Tabard or a Ghostkershield. The first will help me to stop the others weapons but the second is better to counter the cutlass.

My imagined strategy is:
freezer+shield+defense or specie ability (withdraw if Jade is not used)
bomb+main+bersek
main(2)+burrow or main+shield+ability (def?)
main(2)+sink or main+shield+ability (def?)

Do you think it will work? should I try a double freezing?

Sludge Bomb is once per battle, so the Cutlass is your main concern.

What are your Pet's stats? Kastraliss has no defense, so all your offensive icons will get through. The double freeze question is entirely dependent on whether you can more quickly defeat Kastraliss without it (or if you'd prefer the "guarantee," but since he has Jade it's much less of a guarantee).

Always use a species ability in One Player unless you need to Defend to survive (or Berserk a frozen opponent). Otherwise you're passing up on 4-6 icons a round depending on your Pet's species.

Count up the damage you'll be dealing and see if it's enough.

I got the Kastraliss.

I'm trying this (I guess it will take a toll on my pet's scores):
2 main + Diamond Dust. She should use his Jade Scorchstone + Bucket Of Mud
Then G-bomb + Main 1 + Berserk
After that Freezer + Main 1 + Burrow
2 Main + Berserk
If alive Main 1 + A shield + Sink or Defense

This set of Kastraliss' moves is interesting:

i beat Don and basically, for the higher levels, prickly potions are your friend. I basically just used
ppot +ppot + burrow------kastralass should use the bomb that it has and jade
and then ppot + ppot +bezerk

i kept on doing that until i won.....all the time i was hopeing that person wouldnt use his cutlass...i had bout 85 hp so......just use ppots
