I'm pretty disgusted with BOD prices getting lower.. I was gonna sell mine to upgrade but now Pffft Now every single battler's gonna catch up to me set wise Ohmy

I wouldn't mind a downgrade tbh Toungue

Yes Xelo same here thats really upset me, i got a BOD for 4.1 mil before all the fighting happened. I was going to sell it again after war for 4.6 mil looking at the prices. Now I could lose a few mil.

Heh, downgrade would be horrible. I was very very lucky that I did not buy a Wand of Reality when I could have afforded it, or else I would feel like an idiot... I am slow to upgrade my BD set, which now makes me very happy Big Grin

Ylanas Blaster will not maintain a 800K+ price guys. No way. Waaayyy too many plot points available for that to happen. Prizes have only been available for 6 hours and already there are TONS on the market. I would venture to say that not even 20% of users have redeemed their points.

The nps required to hoarde up enough of the Blaster to keep it in the millions price range is staggering. The vast majority of players don't have that kind of patience. It might initially spike up, but it will drop. Users will get bored and want their nps back and the supply/demand and undercutting each other will cause the price to drop.

It'll easily maintain its 800K price, and the only thing I'm left to wonder is how quickly or how long it'll take the price to spike upwards. I'd wager more than 20% of the users have redeemed their prize, but that's a moot point. One wealthy user on the BD Chat has already claimed to have stockpiled 75 of them (which I don't doubt), and that's definitely a large dent.

The price will be maintained because hoarders maintain the price of their investments. They continue pouring in more money, and there are enough wealthy users on the site to do so. Another thing: these users don't get bored. If they did, we'd see price drops on various items and weapons, and the only times we ever do are when TNT Tarlas them or somesuch. In order to sustain the price, these users just have to outlive the supply, and so far they've not only eaten up the current supply but also increased its price. Hoarders also understand the silent agreement that they're not going to undercut each other vocally.

One month after prizes are released, you can EASILY buy a YBlaster for 600K, usually less; and they continue to keep dropping in value. I hate to say I told you so...so I wont. Shhh Wink

In the Trading Post, there used to be 28+ pages of people selling Ylanas Blasters. The number went down to about 24 pages about two weeks ago. Last week, there were about 18 pages of people selling them. Today, about 16 pages.

I didn't count the total number for sale, or total number of sellers - just a quick scan for how many pages worth. But, still, there is a downward trend.

Medium term (6 months) I think at minimum the price will go up to 800K as the Trading Post starts drying up a bit more. Long term (1+ years), considering how similar it is to BOD and WOR in fighting power, these will all start converging in price. If I had to speculate, I would say 1.8 million for YB and about 3 million or less for BOD/WOR.

People want/need mid-level weapons... why blow 3+ mil when a common weapon of similar power is available a lot cheaper? YBs will continue to drag down the price of the BOD/WOR... and as YBs get bought their price will go up modestly.

If you read my post closely I never stated that over time the Blaster would not rise in value. I simply stated that due to the overwhelming numbers out there that it would NOT maintain or exceed a 800K value on TP which is what was being asked, when the prizes were first released.

Others seemed to think that due to the incredible wealth of BD'rs; that it would maintain a 800K price.

As you can see, it hasn't (maintained the 800K+ price) and I would venture to guess it will drop even more than the 600K price point it is at now before it slowly starts to rise back up in price due to inflation, less quantity (quitting, freezing), and very patient wealthy hoarders.

The BD Chatters downplaying the Blasters effectiveness in the hopes of pushing the price of NQII weapons back up some, are only helping to further deflate the value of the blaster.

But to summarize:
*A month+ ago if you were looking to buy or hoarde the Blaster, I would(and did) have said "Hold off"
*Now if you are looking to do the same, I would say "Go for it" You might not be getting the absolute all time lowest price on them, but its going to be pretty close and pending it doesn't get downgraded, it should be a very good investment
