it just stinks for those of us who put out the major bread for these items a year ago I paid 1.8 for a garoo elite blaster then again it did help me with the sloth war and other bd opponents but now its now next to nil fate how you curse me at least I invested 3mil in a bracelet of kings thats still worth it

Unfortunately, all expensive items eventually become less valuable. In my opinion, I think it's good that these items are starting to come down in price. I remember the days when Hand Painted Scarabs were unbuyable, then they dropped to 60K, and now they're pretty inexpensive. The way I see it, 1P possibilities should be significantly cheaper than 2P. What I mean is poor icon types will help create cheap prices for 1P but they should not have a major impact on 2P because the icon types are very significant in 2P. But, then again, that's just my opinion.

They did get downgraded though, which makes it a different case from the one here.

Garbage icons that can't be properly blocked until G-Shield/Tabard level. And even though WoR/BoD start to shine at that point in Two Player again, casual battlers will refuse to "upgrade" because it's such a marginal gain (icon-wise) at such a steep cost.

With so few people hoarding WoR/BoDs (if there are any), and the ratio of casual to serious battlers, I don't expect any rebound beyond what will naturally occur based on the Y-Blaster's price.

The lowered incentive to play through NQII Insane resulting in fewer WoRs/BoDs entering the economy might have a slight effect though. Nowhere near the kind implied by madzorpanda, to be certain.

I bought a WoR just now for 3.2, I doubt they will go under 3 at this point. I watched four sell for 3.1-3.4 within a couple hours, and the sellers that were willing to go under 3 are now gone.

BoD still might crash, but WoR will maintain a price over 3 just because it is the BEST weapon to run alongside a PCC unless you have a SoS or 2nd PCC.

Shattered: SoS is trash for two player even though it can't be properly stopped until the GShield/FTab level, yet odds are you won't recommend it to a serious 2p battler. The SoS fears the GShield, and the YBlaster fears the FTab, and fear is the mind killer.

The Blaster is the SoS of the 13 icon weapons and should be treated as such.

There's a definite difference between the two. SoS stopped being run because G-Shield ate up SoS with room to spare. The Y-Blaster fills up the Tabard's defense and leaves room for a secondary weapon (still an inferior strategy, but a definite psychological and applicable difference). The other issue is the commonality of the two: I've never had a clear picture of what the G-Shield/Tabard ratio is, but I've heard impressions of it being as rare as to be used by only a tenth of battlers. Given the release of Y-Blaster and the power it had during the recent plot I'd expect that ratio to shift, but we're still in the transitionary period with sets and strategy.

Valid point on the icon spread over the FTab.

The ratio won't change, GShield still beats FTab in the big picture.

People who buy Kilns for 3, upgrade from SoS to PCC for 5, buy a FPot/MMoM over H4K, ect, will have no trouble finding it within themselves to spend an extra 2 to get a WoR given the huge jump from junky 2p weapon to junky 2p weapon, I mean Yblaster to SoS.

I hate the Blaster because UBG/Chucks/WCN/DSA are all pretty much useless. I guess there still might be a tad bit of an application for an UBG.

I love the Blaster because it's managed to change the battledome, but not in an earth shattering way.
