Hello and welcome to WW: Pokeshowdown!
Standard Rules:
Standard Werewolf rules apply. I'm not going to insult your intelligence by reposting the generic list for the thousandth time.
Trainers:
There are three Trainers in this game; Red Trainer, Blue Trainer, and Yellow Trainer. These three roles are the only ones able to use Usable Items (see below) or buy things from the PokeMart (see below). These roles are un-attackable; a Trainer is defeated when he or she has no remaining Pokemon. Trainers start with two Regular Pokeballs and three Budget Pokeballs. A Pokemon caught by a Regular Pokeball cannot be converted away from the Trainer; however, a Pokemon caught with a Budget Pokeball is fair game.
Caught Pokemon:
Once a Pokemon has been caught by a Trainer, it must then work for the good of that Trainer. It cannot, for example, attack another Pokemon on the Trainer's team. However, this does not mean that the Pokemon have no free will. The Trainer can suggest a target for a Pokemon, but ultimately the Pokemon is the one committing the action. This is why Trainers should treat their Pokemon with respect.
Wild Pokemon:
A Pokemon is considered "wild" until it is caught. Wild Pokemon have free reign in regards to who they can target with their abilities. Wild Pokemon are considered neutral, and CAN win the game if it comes down to a Wild Pokemon and a Caught Pokemon and Trainer.
Evolving:
Each Pokemon in this game can evolve, once a certain number of EXP has been obtained (or a Rare Candy is bought; see below). Each Pokemon has an invisible number attached to them, denoting their EXP value. The Pokemon that defeats a Pokemon obtains the EXP value of the defeated Pokemon. Pokemon can also evolve by using various Stones, but be warned; they're expensive.
Gold:
Each Pokemon in the game has another invisible number attached to them, denoting the value of Gold they carry. When a Caught Pokemon defeats another Pokemon, their Trainer gains the amount of gold the Pokemon was carrying. Gold is used to buy items from the PokeMart. Each Trainer starts the game with 1000 Gold.
Usable Items:
Some items in the game (Potion, Awakening, Revive) are considered Usable Items. Such items may only be used by Trainers.
Held Items:
Some items in the game (Nevermeltice, Charcoal, Magnet) are considered Held Items. Such items may be given to Pokemon to hold by their Trainers, and some Wild Pokemon may come with Held Items already equipped.
Versatile Items:
Some items in the game (Pecha Berry, etc.) are considered Versatile Items. These items may either be used by Trainers on their Pokemon, or given to a Pokemon to be used at their discretion. Some Wild Pokemon may come with Versatile Items already equipped.
Voting and Execution:
Execution and Voting is different in this game. People may vote for an execution target and execution type (Water, Fire, Ground, etc.) Instead of outright defeating a Pokemon, execution will trigger an attack of that type from the movelist that targets that Pokemon. Execution is by Plurality; that is, the person with the most votes at the end of the day. Execution will happen at 11:00 PM CST (I'm not sure what that equals in GMT or anything else).
Any questions, just ask.
