All I have to say is...
WTH, ATTACKED NIGHT 1? I HATE YOU, KARATE CHOPPER.
Vote: Josh
With Psychic
Because I can.
Mew can learn any attack, even softboiled (Chansey's egg healing)
Vote: Josh, using Psycho Psychic attacks
Metalwarrior Wrote:Mew can learn any attack, even softboiled (Chansey's egg healing)
That would be because Softboiled is a RBY TM. Hydro Pump on the other hand...
Vote: Josh, with Grass
Status ailments and stat lowering? BRING ON THE CRITICAL HITS!!! Grass because I eat leaves.

I don't think it would be harden that would be a defense move first thing off the bat. Isn't that just always associated with ... oh my gosh. i just went blank. Those two... weedle and catterpies cocoon evolutions.
But whatever they're named, since Tanner said there was evolutions, everyone starts out on the first step of their pokemon's evolutionary chain and if harden is just with those two cocoons, that wouldn't be right.
... this made a whole lot more sense in my thoughts than it did writing it out. (whoever did that psywave did a good job. cause i just confused myself)
The two pokemon Rhey means are Metapod and Kakuna.
And
Mew can, in fact, learn ALL moves. Check Crystal's description.

Psychic - Josh, Metalwarrior, mattybeyblade
Grass - matt_hui_ck
As of right now, Josh would be executed with a Psychic-type move.
I'd completely forgotten that Normal was weak against Fighting, dang it's been too long since I held a gameboy.
I think Rhey is right about harden, that move is only for Metapods and Kakunas isnt it? I doubt any first evolutions will be able to use reflect or light screen at this stage in the game, and I've never even heard of Acid Barrier :S
Anyway, unvote: Rox
Vote: Josh With Psychic
Acid Barrier appears with Vaporeon only, I think.
I've seen Staryus/Starmies and Onixes with Harden on Pokemon Stadium (The first one released on America)
o.O
Glad there are some people whom know the ways of the Pokemon.
Vote: Metal, metal?
Miyu, this is 1st Gen. The steel element hasn't been intro'd yet.
Oh, and Grimer learns Acid Armor too.
If I could find my Mega pokedex book it'd be a huge help, no idea where it is though.
