The other thing is, that as of now in this game there really aren't any evil players. In fact, there aren't even any teams set up yet. So we're basically doing whatever we want to, for absolutely no reason at all

Not quite; rules say that a trainer is only out of the game when all of his or her pokes are out of it.

So basically trainers cannot be killed. Only their pokemon. I'm guessing if we get majority on a trainer, the execution just won't count.

That's correct. The trainer will be hit by the attack, but will not be affected.
