Hmm, there's a lot I still have to learn about Pokemon! Thanks for all of the info so far everyone! Since we haven't worked out a way to figure out who the caught pokemon are, why don't we go with someone who can't do anything? It seems that fighting moves are not strong against final_phyre, but is weak against electric, seeing as they're paralyzed? Does that make sense?

So I am torn about Phyre and whether or not to execute him. He has been weakened, so a trainer is probably less likely to want to catch him. Though, he could very well have already been caught. Though, I am going to assume that he is still wild.

Not quite. In Pokemon, paralysis is a side effect of certain electric moves (or the result of using a paralyzing move like Stun Spore). It really has nothing to do with whether the move is effective or not.

For execution, dragon type seems to be the best be because nothing resists it in this game. As for choosing to execute nan, it was random.
As long as a pokémon doesn't evolve twice, we don't have to be worried about a Charizard.

Another question: say I am, hypothetically, executed with an electric attack. Do my weakness/resistance apply? Or am I just, dead?
As far as I know, execution does a set amount of damage. Weaknesses and resistances apply, else it would make that element (lol pun) of execution wasted.
