Hyper Beam is a Normal-type move, if I'm not mistaken.
Cyclone is right, hyper beam is a normal type. The only dragon move that does damage iirc would be dragon rage, for a constant 40 hp.

So anyway guys, I don't think phyre is much of a threat, since he's paralyzed.
Oh...I always thought Hyper Beam was a Dragon Move...My bad...

But yeah, I don't see a reason to execute Phyre. We shouldnt be executing people based on what Pokemon they are. Instead we should be trying to execute the caught pokemon, assuming there are a majority of wild pokemon.
lol I had to stare at that list for ages trying to figure out what type was missing (Only 13/14 were mentioned.)

You forgot Bug types Toungue
Hyper Beam in RBY made the most awesome Pokemove sound ever. Period.

Ryguy, Phyre could be Weedle, though I was guessing that it was Phyre that used Leer, which only Ekans, Scyther and Nidoran M start out with, out of all the bug or poison pokemon.

Who knows, Phyre could well belong to a trainer. It's kinda hard to work this out systematically, so guesswork might have to do.

Oh wait, rule out Scyther, because against Scyther's half flying type, thundershock would have Super Effective. Phyre must be poison then I think.

You said what I was gonna say.

I'd also like to point out that there MIGHT be a Ditto in play. Or Clefairy, in which case, CAN do Metronome, stirring up a random attack.

Who's the ground pokémon?

My vote shall be random, I still don't have a clue of what is going on.

OffTopic: What's with the ad after the first post in every new page?
Can the caught pokemon please raise their hands?
Lol, as if (they were)/(we are) going to disclose themselves. =P

I think we should keep our status censored.
Attention: I miscalculated matt_hui_ck's damage. Toungue Sorry. The Ember attack KO'ed him. He fainted and was Pidgey, a Flying-type Pokemon.

Also, two Pokemon evolved last night.
Two evolved? I wonder if those are wild or if they're caught. Lucky for the trainers if they are, I guess.

Pidgey could have been that sandattack. I knew there was another besides Sandshrew that could do that.
Urgh... Ditto and Metronome, that could put an end to systematical thinking here...

Wow, two pokemon evolved, there's some crazy stuff going on here...

Perhaps it's my dislike for the guy who replaced Ash in Pokemon Chronicles, or maybe another reason, but I want it to end up with 2 wild pokemon battling it out Toungue It'd be an awesome finale.
