So I've got a couple ideas for my set, and I've talked to a few people about building it, but I'm coming here now to look for ideas.

First, my budget: just a tad under 9 mill.

Second, my Pet:

Level: 82 (was 79. Got an RE yesterday that put me up to 80, then won two more trying to dice it down. :/)

I planned on training to 150/125/125, however this 9 mill is the majority of my budget, unless stocks are good to me, so training will be coming slowly. I won't be buying anything until after the plot ends, and things deflate.

My set is a skeleton now. It was set up for the plot; H4k and dual PPots, but PPots don't work as well for two player at my level, and my guild's rules forbid freezes. Which brings me to my next point:

I DO NOT WANT A FREEZER

No freeze, no ECA (not that I'd be taking your advice if you suggested ECA), no one use items. That's about all.

My ideas were;

1- A Gbomb and two GoCs. This would give me a one round big advantage over many of the people I would be fighting, even if it put me at a bit of a disadvantage the rest of the fight. Remainder of my money would go into training or into stocks/Rsing to make more.

2- Dual BoDs and..... yeah. I'm not sure on the non-war prices of these, so I'm not sure what else I could do.

3- MoC, DMB, and.... something else. I'd have a couple million left to spend with this option, but I'm not sure where it should be put.

So.... anyone have any ideas that would flesh out the above options? or any ideas completely separate from these? Fire away

This set concentrates on light icons, which are pretty hard to block

You should change Scuzzys Comb though, if you can make an extra mil try replacing it with Dusty Magic Broom

Thing is, light icons ARE blockable. DMB and AFC do it quite well.

I don't like the WoR; Gshield eats 9 icons out of it, and tabard takes 6. I guess paired with the Bzzt Blaster, it wouldn't be terrible, as they would load up on similar icons, but I mch like the fact that I can't use them independantly.

With the MoC in my set, the Sophies Hat seems almost redundant. It only gives me some physical and some fire defense, and it drops some dark.

I've always like the pairing of DMB and MoC; I REALLY like the two of them alongside of the BoD, as it stacks icons with each of them.

If I were to go with those three weapons, then my only real item left to look for would be a shield. One that doesn't block earth, dark, or light...

Mass light can be nice, you just need to make sure your set isn't totally pwned by DMB. =)

On round one, you use your dual SoRFs. Then, your opponent will think that sinking or pulling out a light blocker is a good idea. But then next round you blow them away with your BoD and DMB The Grundo is an unexpeced weapon that would be best used near the end of the match, and as you said, the bow combines well with both the broom or the mask. The clockwork grundo could alsobe substituted for a honey potion.
Alternately you could go with a set like Meuka followers, but I think this ones a little more unexpected =)

The problem with your set, piano man, is that it doesn't fit the budget. I would have the money for BoD MoC and DMB, and possibly an SoRF on top of that, but definitely not the RCG, and definitely not dual SoRFs.

I'm considering maybe an RSB, just for the icon variety it would give me on one turn, as well as sticking a shield in there - just not sure which one.

I like this idea the best for a budget of around 10mil too. It blocks many of the common NQII weapons as well as honey potion, while still packing a punch.

I really thing the shields are a waste of np in all but the very lowest levels of battling unless you can afford FTab or GShield.

That set would work well, but none of the icons get past burrow. You really need a ramptor's or SORF in there, the honey potion isn't too crucial as you already can get 18 icons past sink. Steaming Skeem Potion is a nice and very cheap second or third constant worth considering. There really aren't any worthwile shields at your level, unless you count Kaylas magic cloak, but thats species only

Sophies Magic Hat? I've found them to be pretty useful for a shield . And don't discount Patched Magic Hat either- it's still useful although it's cheap.

MoC 3.7mil
BoD 4mil

These already eats up 9.7 mil, so well... you cannot have them altogether, unless you're a very good haggler.

Ultra Bubble Gun bypasses all of the 3, so take that into consideration.

hmmm UBG? That is one I have not thought of myself

The UBG is pretty well taken out by Faerie Tabard which blocks all the water and around half the air. Dual BoD would be far better to get more icons past both GShield and FTabard
