generally g-shield is considered better since it blocks dark which is more common than mass water. However in this war plot, tabard is proving slightly more useful at times. Either way it's a tough call and depends on the situation. You can't just say which is better because they're both good for their own reasons.

Q77's right about the G-shield being more popular... The Tabard is generally only preferred by people who are running it with a dark-defending dual duty like Ring Of The Lost or Mask Of Coltzan

I would defintely go for faeire tabard right now, its proven to be amazing against the waves so far, if you dont want it after the war sell it and get a GShield

While we are on this topic...I have a friend who recently bought a g-shield and he figured at his def boost of 350, it would be affective enough. He was unpleasantly surprised to find it not so affective...so my question is, at what def boost does it becom more affective?

If we're talking 1P here, which your scenario seems to suggest, then 550 is when it really comes into its own against 700 boost opponents, though at 400 it's vaguely useful.

Hahaha he never actually told me if it was against 1pl or 2pl challengers.
