I was recently going to buy one, unitl I read Kage's rating. He says if you have less than 100hp you cant use it? My pet has 79hp will I be able to use it effectively with drain? I do understand about the 750 Intel though, no need to explain that to me
For the CBT to work, two conditions must be satisfied:

1) You have at least 100 less HP than your maximum (In other words, you have to have taken 100 damage)
2) Your opponent has to have more than 100 HP (so you can't KO with the CBT)

So you have to have a 101 HP pet before the CBT becomes usable.
I'd wait until you have around 150 HP or so before you start using it. It'll give you a good HP buffer to work with, so you don't have to worry about using it too late.
Stick with Greater healing scroll for now. Besides even though CBT is a great asset to have, war inflation has driven it up too high right now. Do as Graph said for your hitpoints and let the price come down naturally.

BTW: If you need to work on your pet's INT, I suggest you swing by my Kacheek's petpage

wow that's a lot of book buying for a pitifully slow connection like mine. I assume you chose those because they were cheap?

That was done over time and with the advantage of superwiz. It just saves time of searching though the thousands of books out there, and keeping it cost-effective

Its only because of your petpage that I even consider getting CBT, the intel was going to be the biggest problem but with the list of books you made and saying it only costs 1.4mil! That made all the difference!Wink

I guess I will train my pet, and stick with GHS, I really thought I could knock out all pets with under 100hp first round

So are you saing if my opponent has 75/150hp, I will not be able to use it against them, or they just need to have 100hp stats wise

Okay so I dont want to post multiple boards, I'm trying to make out a set, I need another constant, what pairs well with Bow of Destiny?

I was thinking of Dull Stone Axe, or another Bow? I usually am half 1p and half 2p

My current set is:

Bow of Destiny
Mask of Coltzan
Dusty Magic Broom
Greater Healing Scroll
Entangling Lenny Lasso
Honey Potion
Downsize!

Pet Stats:
HP: 79
STR: 63
DEF: 60
You need to be 100 HP below your max, and your opponent has to have at least 100 HP left... so you're right, if your opponent had 75/100 HP left, the tunic would not work.

I've got 300 HP and I have a tunic. I've used it in one-player but haven't found it very useful there. It was too hard to get that window where I was down at least a third of my HP but the opponent still had more than 100 left -- plus, by the point where I'd have to start using a healer, the opponent usually had so many hit points that the drain didn't even help much, and they hit me so hard that a 100 HP heal wasn't good enough. I haven't tried it in two-player yet, but it seems that it would work much better there against someone with similar stats.
Do the same rules apply for 1p? The opponent must have over 100hp? Because then my thoughts of getting CT will drop, it does not seem that great, a GHS seems best fit for me now
That's why I'm not so sure of it myself. A yellow is nice too, and has less restrictions
maybe once I'm in the 300-500 hp range, if I'm not able to get a bag of healing dust

Are you talking about Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic? Because that would not be a smart move to use at 300hp-500hp range, it only heals 75
