Level: 29
Hit Points: 112 / 112
Strength: AWESOME (61)
Defence: 15
Movement: AMAZING (89)

1 player battle/ 500k to spend, but if I need to get a little more np/train a little more for it to be more worth my neopoints I'd go for that.
If someone can also please give estimate on how much more neopoints the weapons cost now cause of the plot?

plus my level and defence sucks but I'll never get my level up to half my movement and then train defence I think.

I have a hard time understanding how to make battle strategies so if someone can just give very short solutions or very simple tips on battledome it'd help forever (and probably someone else)

I'll also buy from you if you're selling whatever??

Thanks!!! Wave
(note: you need to get your level to half of your HP before you can train defence- and just for future information you probably won't ever use defence OR movement in 1p battledome and if your on a tight budget with an already outbalanced stat pet, you may as well just train HP/Str/Level)

First you need a healer: Greater Healing Scroll will still work for you, but if you are a Gelert, Kacheek of Elephante get their species healer, as it will grow with you over time. If you don't use the Lab, (but your stats tell me you most likely do), perhaps you could invest in morphing your pet into one of those species. Until then, GHS will have to do.

A freezer is great for 1p battles and if your on a tight budget then %-based ones can actually win you a few battles against opponents that would normally be too hard to beat. Green Frost Cannon, or preferably Snowglobe Staff will allow you to, when the opponent is very hard, attempt to freeze first turn and if you fail you can withdraw, heal (or beat Inflatable Balthazaar) and try again until you freeze first try.

Many non-plot 1p opponents have useful items to steal (and many don't- check the idb on 1p profiles before attempting to steal). For this reason it's always handy to have a Purple Sticky Hand.

Another 1p staple in your budget is Downsize!. For it's price (it's realllly cheap!) it will allow you to stall, or knock off that last bit of hp without dieing, or attempt to block an opponents bomb (such as a snowball). As your on a relatively tight budget, it's great to fill up another slot.

That leaves 400k for another four slots. 2 of those are going to be your main weapons- choose from dualing any of these common 9-iconers: Stone Club, Ice Club, Golden Compass, Essence of Esophagor (perhaps strategically better as it attacks with only 2 icons, less chance of being blocked in 1p), Tyrannian Lupe Tooth or Psellias Fighting Fan (which is perhaps a little too expensive for it's use in 1p)

The other two slots will usually, at least for DoN battles, go for one use items for just a small boost that will hopefully get you over the line in those important battles, such as any Muffin or a Thick Smoke Bomb.

Another option for those last two slots in 1p is for you to get the either the Stone or Ice Club (being the cheapest usually) and using the rest of the money to get a Prickly Potion. This item works by using the opponents strength, not your own, so it can be handy for a few battles in 1p. The moment a 1p opponent has more than 125 hp (and subsequently 125 stregth) the PPot will do more damage than your constants. When you move up to 85 strength or more, the opponent has to have 200 hp. Just look at the boost table on the idb under articles.

So your set:
Greater Healing Scroll
Snowglobe Staff
Purple Sticky Hand
Downsize!
9-icon 1
9-icon 2
PPot/1-use
1-use

Good Luck!
Thanks rylix, you're the man. Ohmy I'm on it I'm on it

But this board isn't closed, 'case someone has some simple battledome tips or can tell the difference of the cost on the items because of war inflation, or second opinions like "yeah, I agree with rylix" would be greatly appreciated. Or if you're selling one of those items, it might help someone else if not me, if you make a reply here.

Thanks!
rylix covered all of the basics for weapons.

The only thing I'd want to add is to make sure you have all of the good faerie abilities you get from using bottled faeries - you can find the full list here: http://idb.finalhit.org/?searchtype=page...ftype=fire

You want Burrow, Sink, Drain Life, and you want one of the abilities that heals 33% of lost HP (Restore, Regeneration, or Healing Vapour). You want one of the abilities that can freeze (Fiery Gaze or Diamond Dust). You probably will also want Quench, Steam Shield and either Boil or Water Breathiing against a few 1p opponents (but those should be lower priority than the other ones)

For strategies, a really basic 1p strategy that a lot of newer BDer's overlook is simply to withdraw from a fight, heal and restart until you get the optimal opening move - whether you need them to use their healer first, you need your snowglobe staff to successfully freeze, your sticky hand to successfully steal, or sometimes all three in the same round. Starting over again and again can get frustrating, but it can let you beat far stronger opponents than you could otherwise and/or save you many single-use or fragile items in doing so.
thanks rabid_shnauzer Smile helps a lot
Everything was mainly covered by rylix and rabid_schnauzer Not Worthy

Just a note that faerie abilities are also important so don't spend all your neopoints on just battledome weapons if you don't have to.

Definitely get "Downsize!" though, and you should probably get a "Greater Healing Scroll" and a freezer. I prefer Snowglobe Staff over Green Frost Cannon but both freezers are mediocre.
