At the 1 player page, it tells you at the same row how many points you gotten so far from that challenger, same row as the one that tells you your wins and losses and draws
Their formula still uses the opponent's difficulty... I believe it's the opponent's original difficulty plus the percentage of your hit points remaining when you win. So the more times you fight an opponent, the stronger it gets and the fewer points you're going to get for each fight. At least with IDB's system, you get the same number of points for each kill.

I thought you were talking about whatever formula Neopets is using to calculate plot points... BD score is really only for show.

That doesn't matter, though... my pet has 250 str and def and 300 HP, and I can only beat the opponents and have 100% of my hit points left for so long. If I keep fighting, it is an absolute certainty that I will begin to finish with less and less HP as they hit harder and harder, and then I'll get fewer points. Even the battlers with 700-boost pets are going to start finishing with less than 100% HP as Riilan gets stronger and stronger. Then they'll get fewer points for the same kill. TNT's is a neat system, but it's a much better and fairer idea for our purposes to just count wins.
And TNT themselves have never actually used that "score" to calculate plot-related points -- even in real wars where we could watch the totals beneath our shields update as we fought, they'd just give one point, or three points, or five points (or whatever) for each kill, depending on how tough the opponent was. Those points on your 1-player page are, as chicken said, just for show.
ok am I missing something here ? are scores only updated every few days?? and if so when will they be updated again??
There were well over 600 people registered last time I checked, and IDB doesn't have a huge score-checking team! Give the poor guys a little time.

Sometime next week

So please be patient, ok? ^^ and battle away
