Now that war has started im starting to increase lvl to 50 for beserk, and then just work on pure defence and see what lab gets me.

I only have 1.2 mill to spend right now, but i could make more.
Any suggestions?
Prickly Potion 2x - thats all you will need in addition to what you have for 1p for a long time.
They will easily out damage your constants as you begin to max out on different opponents

2 ppots is probably the best way for you to go, you have a pretty low strength boost, the ppots will hep you greatly, if you are still pushing for a different way saving up for a freezer is probably the nest step, the lowest one which is a species is the Entangling Lenny Lasso at about 3 mil
Considering your Defence is in a lower boost than your strength and that in 1-p your more than likely to be vs-ing somebody with higher strength than you, I would ditch the Magic Hat for funds for different upgrades. You have two awesome constants, and occasionally useful tertiary weapon, the best bomb, downsize and a decent healer. All that's missing is, as others have said, a freezer. Once you have your PPots, or even before then, save for a 100% freezer, or at the very least a cheap useful freezer that previous advice-giverers have given.
Your pet name almost got me recommending Entangling Lenny Lasoo, but... yay for the lab!
If you have your PPots and can live with withdrawing/trying for a first round freeze over and over with a percentage freezer, Your next upgrade is either Scuzzys -> 11-icon
blaster or
Fungus Ray or just jump directly to dual
Wand of Reality. I would personally dual
Bow of Destiny for the lack of physical (which is often blocked in 1-p).
Edit: For out of war situations, feel free to get a Purple Sticky Hand for when you can steal useful items from your 1p opponent!
