I don't know if I am writing in the correct thread but was hoping for some advice.
What is the best course of action for defeating Garoo Elite Specialist Riilan.

I'm not greedy about wins, I just would really like to defeat him once.

My stats are (don't laugh):
Lvl : 38
Str : 72
Def : 63
Mov : 33
Hp : 64 / 64

I have Scarab ring, ring of the lost, snowglobe staff, kau mouthblade and helmet, some sand snowballs, and chocolate chip battle biscuits. I've lost 3 times and withdrawn numerous times because the staff simply won't freeze for me. What should I do please? What should I buy(can't afford the H4000)? Where should I concentrate my training please? Strength, defense or hp? Any course of action anyone would recommend please?

Try using the Kau Knight Helmet instead of the Mouth Blade, if you want to stick with kau weapons. It does the same damage (6+2), but has the added bonus of being defensive.

Also, look for a leaf shield for the sake of blocking.

If you can afford it (expect to pay 120k or more), track down a stone club or ice club. I don't off the top of my head know which damage Riilan is more susceptible to, but both do 9 icons 100% of the time. The Tyrannian Lupe Tooth would be a slightly cheaper alternative, since it does 8.67 icons, not a full 9. The Electro sword is cheaper still, because it does only 8 icons (still better than the mouth blade).

Essence of Esophagor does 9 icons, water/earth mixed. It'll be about 150k right now, I'm sure.

ROTL plus any one of those weapons above would be a huge upgrade.

Keep using the snowballs.

Can you afford a Black Frost Cannon at 450k?

Can you afford an Icy Battle Duck or any other 10-icon item? Portable Kiln does 11.

There's a strength boost at 85 STR. Don't be shy about training that stat up.

The grundos looks cool but the virtupets...

This virtupets involvement can be the reason behind they absence from the yooyuball cup.
