i joined the IDB because i am good a defencive strats and duel duty weapons i joined to help other people.
Personally: i like video games like ssbm (super smash bros.melee) and i am waiting to get super smash bros. brawl in the mail "march/9/08"
for further note; i do not like to choose side on an opinon because it helps t se both sides to make the best disition.
My goals: my goals are to become an idb rater o n this site because of my experce with defensive weapons and multi-perpose weapons. ALSO to help clear up the untested weapons section on the ibd

Hey twilight, your english on IRC is definitely much better than in that post =P but welcome to the forums. It's not easy becoming an IDB rater though and a good set or pet is not everything. You shoudl inquire about past hiring procedures if you're truly interested about becoming a rater, so that you are prepared when the time comes.

Hehehe even idb raters can have typos right Q77? Anyway...I was interested in becoming an idb rater myself but not sure if I would be a good pick for an idb rater...

lol perfect english is not a requirement =) although we like to know if we do make a typo in a rating since it looks unprofessional if we have too many typos.
And yup that's a good link to take a look at. But after getting through the basics, you still have to do a quiz followed by an interview.

Applications aren't open currently. But one of reqs to even be able to take the test was to have a pet with HP + STR + DEF = 300+. I think the philosophy behind it was that a pet with stats that high would have experienced multiple levels of battling, so you will probably want to get training, especially since the reqs could increase.
Back around the time of the meridell wars your war score was taken into consideration as well, and plot experience was a requirement for the last round of applications.
