I highly doubt we'll get a war.
Battling, yes. But it's extremely unlikely that we'll get a "war".
(A war, in my opinion, is either a plot that contains nothing but battling, or is a two-sided battling effort. And I'm quite sure TNT wouldn't let that happen, because I'd bet Dr. Sloth would win.)
And one possibility has already been eliminated, and the other is quite close to it.
