It would be interesting to know the stats on the folks that began step 2 and then aborted, uttering a few expletives on their way out. I mean, you gotta figure that the TNT plot staff ::really:: dropped the ball by popping such a difficult step so early. Seriously, what were they thinking?!? Sure, I'm a degreed CSE with more years programming experience than most of you have been alive -- I dream in algorithms, so scratching through my spread sheet to track guesses was more tedium than challenge. But what about everyone else? The attrition rate had to be horrific...
Here's a better approach:
1. Simple puzzle, basic opponent (think Chia Clown or Pant Devil).
2. Multiply by a scaling difficulty factor and repeat.
there was a neomail to the staff about the codebreaking, and a well quoted reply...
the latter ones are going to be harder...
The later steps are going to be harder

? I lived through this, but only barely.
I did a survey there is ALOT on sloth side that is all i can say

New comic is now out.
Werther is back!
Sounds like Commander Valka, the Resistance Leader (is he supposed to be a short snout Lupe?), has offered us some fighting words, "It's time we took back the Space Station."
Can it be??

WWWAAARRR?!

Anyone else notice how Neo is ripping off Superman? Green rock, unstable properties, first two letters are KR... I suppose we're fine as long as Neopets don't start getting weak before they start mutating.

He's an ixi -- look at the little horns.
I certainly hope we'll get some battling soon... I'm getting bored.
Has anyone noticed, that todays featured game is escape to kreludor, and that's the next thing cylara and gorix will do?
I've played Escape to Kreludor repeatedly since the last chapter came out, with no noticeable results. I'm not saying it's necessarily irrelevant, just that I haven't gotten anywhere with it.
Ah, well, at least I'm in practice for the double neopoint award.
