::Yay!:: Hmm... I guess for me it will depend on the mood I'm in. Right now, I would defend the Space Station. But if TNT makes me wait too long, my impatience will over-power my good-nature... then I'll be all about imprisoning the Neopians and making them my slaves (especially that Space Faerie, her blue hair drives me crazy).
I just did a practice run at her. Took her out with a Scarab Ring and a Sword of the Dead. Yep, I train defense. Ok, so I froze her the third round and stomped her like a blue-headed step-child. I need a DMB or AFC!

I'm definately supporting Sloth, should we get the chance to choose sides.
I don't really like Sloth himself, but I like what he does. And I like Commander Garoo, too, which is another reason for me.

10 Waves?!?! Jeez..
Thinking back, the whole Space Faerie and the false decoy reminds me a lot of Star Wars. Either one of the movie or one of the side-novels I read. My memory is weak

If this does turn out to be a war, I HIGHLY doubt we will be able to choose sides. In previous instances where that option has been given, there was never really a clear-cut good and bad side (except maybe in the Maraqua war). This time we've invested a lot of time and effort into Gorix and Cylara, and storywise, it would be completely idiotic for us to suddenly be turned against them.

I think that was the original. This reminds me of back in the first Meridell War, where it kind of seemed like TNT was copying LOTR.

That, and I've always chosen the evil side in plots. If someone finally conquers Neopia, it guarantees another war in the future liberate it. However, I don't actually know very much about Dr. Sloth. I know he's the main supervillain of Neopia, but virtually nothing about his personality other than what we saw in this plot. Fortunately it seems be the cliche but intelligent mastermind.

I faintly recall gray area, but Darigan's actions were done out of revenge, weren't they? But you're right about choosing sides: it's pretty clear that any battling we might see will be in support of the Resistance.

I can't remember the details of the plot but I do remember there was plenty of debate about which side was right, so there must have been some ambiguity...
It would be interesting if we did have 2 sides... probably all the newbs would join the good guys, but more vets would probably go with Sloth I'm guessing... so hard to say who would win.

To continue with all this rumors... i just saw this list:
Bad guy's opponents:wave 1. Resistance rookies
wave 2. Resistance engineers
wave 3. resistance Soliders
Wave 4. Resistane eliet
Wave 5. Cynara
wave 6. Scout
Wave 7. Gorix
Wave 8. Cynara's father
Wave 9. Space faerie
Wave 10.The Doctor
Good guy's:Wave 1. Grundo soliders
Wave 2. Grundo mercenaries
Wave 3. Garoo Eliets
Wave 5. what ever that bounty hunters name is
wave 6. Garoo
Wave 7. Daleks
Wave 8. Dr.sloth
Wave 9. Mutated Dr. Sloth
Wave 10. Dalek emperor
Haha! Some of these are great. Cylara's spelled wrong, first of all, and why would we fight her dad? Also, Daleks are from Dr. Who... as is the "good guy" side's big boss, The Doctor.

Right, and he stole it because he needed it to save his land, kind of like how the US needs oil and goes to war every now and then. That doesn't make Merridell "bad", does it? Remember how the images of Skarl went from smooth and smiling to unshaven and "grumpy"?
Too much of a morality play there -- I mean, what do you teach? That the popular opinion is the most moral? Phhppppt.
