I'm not certain about the spider thing. I recall that there were a time when no spider could be found. And then tnt released more of them.
I agree with you with the unknown number of enemies needed to satiate Neo bdomers. Although I don't think like you that all veterans want a true war (or is full war). I know I no longer find my desire filled with that but I like to max out... because sometimes is a that test to my skills.
Personally, I think they should go back to the way they used to do it. Give us 8 waves of opponents, two sides to pick from, and a limitless number of challengers that are the same for everyone, then weeks to max out. If you get low points, it's 'cause you weren't prepared, nothing else. HATIC did this, BFM I did this, and they were both great wars. Although poison was annoying in HATIC.
I can see limited opponents if they released them in sets. Possibly waves of 200k every few 6 hours or something for first wave, and do that for 2-3 days... next wave 150k, same timing. Third 100k, same timing. Fourth wave 50k, every 12 hours for a few days.... etc. This would give people in different timezones a chance, and give us enough time to get a lot of wins. It also changes competitions such as the ones here at idb; not only are you competing over who has more points to spend on weapons, but also over who is going to go after the opponents more agressively, and max out, rather than getting cut out.
Limited opponents (if reasonably limited like they were in BFM).
Then ranks (Especially when I would be a low end rank 2)
Then kill limits. That is just awful. They are a disgrace to not only those who train, but those who work hard to battle.

I agree. I didn't participate in either:Pbut from what I've seen and read about them they would've been fun. It seems like TNT's given up wars for puzzles and other activity sort of things.
Well as the Return of Dr. SLoth plot has just ended, I would defintely have to say this was the worst, it was like ToW, but a lot worse, A couple of puzzles and then some BD opponents, plot line wasnt that great, i would have to say im completely dissappointed
That's because Dr. Sloth isn't as evil as Meuka or Balthazar are

Even though I was too lazy to ever finish the 3-mods and so will get nothing from this plot, well, this wasn't too bad. Better than anything we've had since the Ice Caves at least. I really wish TNT would just give us a pure war though. And have pure plots too, but why mix the two things together...

My thoughts exactly. Even though this wasn't a true war, it beat out JLI and ToW by a long shot, and even beat CoM and BFM. HatIC and Champions of Meridell were the only two wars that have been better. (Haven't experienced the Tyrannian or Lost Desert Wars to be able to consider them.)
The "plot" wasn't bad at all, IMO. Much too short, but the puzzles were challenging, and the challengers weren't too bad. The disgusting thing was the comics.
Yeah, these comics were bad; but I just read shattered;s plot instead, and enjoyed myself that way

. If it had gone on longer, this had potential to be quite a good plot, and Viacom had several opportunities to extend it if they had wanted to.

that is probably the best idea. if we run out of a chalenger, a new wave of them can come out. there has to be a point where the army runs out of challengers, which means we win
