Hey Guys,
I have been pondering this and I am thinking about trying to see how far I can get in one of these quests. Which would you recommend? I only plan on mainly fighting in 1p fights.
These are the weapons or BD related items that you get from each quest:

Illusens Potion
Mud Mixture
Leaf Shield
Illusens Earth Potion
Honey Potion
Illusens Blade
Illusens Staff
Jhudora's:
Noxious Nectar
Purple Blob Potion
Caustic Potion
Malice Potion
Jhudoras Potion
Dark Faerie Collar
Portable Cloud
Wand of the Dark Faerie
J-Quests are harder, you'd need a fuller r99 gallery. I-Quests are easier, and more of the prizes are in circulation.
The only weapons I see worth doing quests for are Honey Potion, Illusens Staff, and Wand of the Dark Faerie, yet it is nearly impossible to acquire the latter two. Honey Potions are around 800k in the market, and, from personal experience, I've spent less than 100k twice from I-1 to I-34. Then I got lucky once, and I got pwnt once.
Honey Potion is getting more and more popular, especially in freeze bombing. If you're patient enough, I suggest you try both of them out, but do the Illusens Quests first.
Thanks, I think I will do what you suggest and take my time doing both to see how far I can go and see what I can get.
I would go with IQuest. There really is no point in going past I35 unless you have a very large r99 collection, and even then you could still loose a lot of money.
IQuests. The first "good" item you're going to getting from the JQuests is the Jpot, and the chances of you getting that are much less than the chances of you getting the Hpot.
But in case there's something you're not telling us (eg. you have a full R99 gallery or something
), JQuests are more profitable.
I'd say, Josh, The Jhudoras Potion isn't even worth it. It's like a once per battle Sword of Skardsen. The first 'good' item would probably be Dark Faerie Collar, IMHO.
Not necessarily. The Jpot averages 3 more icons than a SoS, but the two's usage are completely different IMO. The SoS is a multiple use backup weapon that gets owned by common defenses (read: Gshield and RotL). The Jpot, on the other hand, is a ace-up-your-sleeve "surprise!" weapon; trick your opponent into thinking his/her dark blocker isn't needed, and then POW. Not to mention it's the second-best bomb, since you can't equip two Gbombs.
I thought the JPot was a better weapon then want I was researching on it.
And no, I don't have an extensive r99 gallery so, I think I willl slowing build up both quests while stock piling money and items until I can go no further at either one.

there really is no point in building up on both quests while stock piling money and items because once you are asked for an item you can't get within the time set, you will be reset to the beginning (quest 1). A reasonable goal for most questers is the hpot as mentioned above from I quest. After 35, usually it's just wasting money unless you're really lucky and somehow can get to the next prize without a R99 gallery.
