Metal has one as well, so we're planning on an IDB enraged lord pirate PPQ tomorrow (with probably me, Metal, Kem, Toggy, Krystal, and possibly someone else).
G: This week's finals, oddly enough, are allowing me to spend more time on games in general than the regular school schedule would allow me to.
C: My one-month LOTRO subscription ran out (just before finals week
), and going back to a free MMORPG is rather... jolting, to say the least. But oh well.

Super G: Found the Brandish 20 book at Dark Wyverns and it worked! Yay for multimonster brandish!
Edit: G: Found the Rush storybook. Now all I need is another 4th job warrior to do the quest with (that doesn't ask to be paid). :-\
C: There's a lot of stuff to gather for the unlocking of the Ifrit summon. @_@
Maple Tip: if you need to collect Firebomb Flames(Jr. Effy), go into Zakum JQ, and a little ways into the first room two Jr. Effys spawn pretty frequently. ^_^
G: Found some cool Arch Mages this morning and picked up my Fire Soul Rock thing.
Maple Tips:
-Entering the Elemental Thanatos room can only be done with 2 Arch Mages, both can be I/L.
-You won't be able to damage the Thanatos of your element with any of your attacks.
-Defeat the Thanatos you're there for and if the Rock doesn't drop, leave and come back til it does.
-You can enter with someone who has already completed the quest if they aren't the leader of the party.
Real G: Ifrit has been unlocked. ^_^

SUPER C: His Blizzard doesn't give me any exp (though his 3rd job skills do). Maybe Spaz should try partying oka and see if it's a 4th-job only thing
Weird, when we leeched him at Sky Nest 2, we got exp from blizzard.
Maybe are you fighting something beyond the minimal leeching level?
We were at gobies (and since I'm a higher level than the gobies themselves, I should be getting exp). A 114 dk who came to our party later had the same problem.
C: They also changed the spawn on gobies (if you d/c and relog), to a spot right on top of a goby house. Therefore, all mages will instantly die.

Been that way since the map was first added. I've experienced it firsthand on more than one occasion, the first out of ignorance, and later from lag.
Yoshi, Krystal gets EXP from Gobies killed with Blizzard, so I have no clue. Maybe you guys are expecting the EXP to show up when the monsters disappear cause that would explain it. The EXP from monsters killed by Blizzard will show up at the beginning of the Blizzard animation, now at the end. :/
Also, that spawn point at the top of the Goby map isn't new, I'm just not usually at the top of the map.
