We're getting Pirate pq, new hairstyles, two web events (GM blog, and "Maplemas dessert"), 2x exp or 2x drop at certain times from Dec. 17 to Dec. 30, boss clones on New Year's, Gelt and Pie quests, and some quest where you bring presents to either Maple Claws, some guy from that other dimension, or a guy who will give you money instead of items for them. And they're making it a server-wide contest to see whether Maple Claws or that other dimension guy can get more presents.
wow that is some intense patching...I hope they don't make the 2x events during the day again, that'd basically end my MS until january... will pirate PQ be for lvl 70-100?
I wonder if I have the internet working at home...

2X EXP is great... but there is never anywhere to train during it because it is so crowded
