It finally works, it has a chance to heal you to max HP. (and yes, it's multiple use) Let the inflation begin from 3,000NP (at this time) to something like 1,000,000NP. Looks like I should grab more! I think it's around 15%.
In 2 minutes, the price is now 5,000.
It's around 10k right now, wow. I grabbed five of them for around 7-9k. Is this proven? I want to see some screenies. Looks like we'll need to test for percentages, too.
Ah, just saw the editorial:
Quote:TNT, you were hit by a rock! (loool had to change that one.) Well it's just that me and half the BDers of Neopia are wondering, what does Golden Sun Chalice do? When used in the Battledome it seems to do nothing at all... are we missing something? Did you forget to activate the item? ~aca_ixidor
According to our Battledome queen it's supposed to have a chance to heal your Neopet to max hit points if your Neopet is not at max health. We tested it out and found it wasn't working as we intended. Oops! The code has been fixed now. Let the inflation begin.
this thing is taking right off... I'm riding the wave and it's already over 30K
Edit: people are starting to notice that it's R58... Price is dropping back to 7000-ish
That's insane! How could a multiple-use full healer be 10000? I'm getting more.
Edit: It's back up again. I got 30

I'm getting out for now. I made about 400K on the quick flip so i'm happy..... Just in case though, I'm holding on to 10 or so and see what happens

I'm sure it will be downgraded in some way.
Any word on the heal rate yet? (since TNT said it had "a chance to heal your Neopet to max hit points")
The only few times I've used mine, it has given me full.
I bought three. That's it. I'm sure they're not as good as they seem. Probably still has some bugs to work out.
Their rarity is rather low too, isn't it? I don't think such an incredible weapon would be so incredibly easy to obtain...
*Wonders if this is all some sort of cruel joke...*
dang, i sold minelast months ago for 100nps. What a genius of me?! URGH!

It desperately needs to be downgraded. Someone threw out 20% on BD Chat, but individual results are currently stating more frequency than that. The rarity is absurdly low for something this overpowered.
Out of 50 Trials:
20 Full Heals
30 Nothing
40% chance of full Heal
As far as downgrading it goes, I think it might be a little busted for 1p, but it should be fine for 2p. To get the maximum effect you want to wait as long as possible, but you also set yourself to outright loose if it doesn't work. Realiable healing is way too important in 2p to risk using this.

I'm running more like 40% personally. I expect these rates will last over the weekend until neo opens up monday morning and realizes they accidently put an extra "0" in there somewhere LOL
I've got to disagree a bit with thesovereign here, as if the approximately 40% healing continues, I think a prompt downgrade will occur. Remember that TNT still has the Ice Scorchstone sitting out there for 3,000,000 nps in the Hidden Tower which would be vastly inferior to the Chalace. I don't disagree with your battle thoughts sovereign, but for a relatively common item, I think the power and usefulness is too great to not be downgraded if the 40% healing is accurate over broader testing. I'd guess that darwin is probably closer to the ultimate full heal percentage.
