400k to spend and currently no equipment.

Pet Name: Dahhcheek

Strength: LEGENDARY (142)
Defence: EXCELLENT (58)
Movement: average

I do lab ray and my pets level is only 4...I was thinking of stopping lab ray and buying a morphing potion to change into a kacheek or a lupe. What should I do?
You've got a long haul getting your level back in order, terror trove cards will get you started, they tend to pay for themselves over time.
Hold on labbing until your level catches up, at least far enough to gain all the fairy abilities.
You've already passed the point where you could have stopped and gotten your defense in order easily, so likely you'll lab more latter.
This reduces what you have left for your set but it will help in the long run.
The big question for 1 player is, are you looking for avatars, to be ready for a war, to complete DON, or to see yourself in a high score list?
Ready for war and to complete DON...I can't beat the snowbeast.
All that's limiting you in DoN is your Strength Boost (HP factors into wars plots, but it matters far less in DoN, especially at the point you're at and with labbing). K-Questing could subsidize your Strength training while the Lab would continue to crank HP (and increase Strength to a lesser degree). Until your Strength Boost breaks 200, Prickly Potion is an offensive consideration (though expensive, and I'm not sure on the price beyond that it would nearly fill the 400K budget, if not fill it). Terror Troving could help your Level (along with K-Questing), but unless you're missing Faerie Abilities you want (based on your Defense, I doubt you are) there's probably no reason to care about your Level. (Training up your Level just to train normally would be far more expensive than it would be worth, and putting that money into K-Quests would do much, much more for you in the short-run, and debatably in the long-run.)

Lupe just for the Wands? That would probably be more beneficial than Kacheek for the healer (right now, anyway). Alternatively, you could pick up a morphing potion (as well as a pile of Wands) and save it for the next plot, and continue to Lab in the meanwhile. There's really no reason to stop labbing, unless you adamantly decided you wanted to balance your stats.

You really need more money for a solid set. As it is, you'd be running 9-iconers (presumably dual-Essence of Esophagor).
I think I am going to get one item at a time and probably spend 300k-600k an item. I know the date of the new war plot is unknown, but do you think there will be another one anytime soon?
