At the low-level, I'm not sure whether to make the usual recommendations or to put more thought into it.
Thief Dagger would possibly do better than Scarab Ring (I'm not sure what Fire is being thrown around at the low-levels, though the Dagger has 2 icons less offensively than the Ring). It's probably too early to go with
Dusty Magic Broom.
Ethereal Sword might even be worth a look, though I would normally recommend the Dagger over it.
Enchanted Wooden Bow should be upgraded to something different. Either a second Compass, or perhaps
Ramtors Spellbook to blast through Burrow.
Normally I'd recommend swapping out Pike Pike for
Essence of Esophagor, but low-end battlers are more likely to carry Leaf Shield which makes the Pike Pike a better choice (plus the Light to blast through Burrow). So I'm not sure on that one.

I would suggest getting the
Ethereal Sword for a bit more power in its attack. I agree with Shattered; barely any fire at low-levels (except perhaps
Skeletal Fire Gun), but since you have an extra slot empty, no reason not to keep the
Scarab Ring there.
I personally choose
Ethereal Sword over
Thief Dagger not cos I wax lyrical over it a lot (lol), but because the
Leaf Shield would give you sufficient physical defence as it is (by being a tank, you would have really pushed the Shields defensive potential already). Adding the
Scarab Ring in would serve to expand your physical already, so forget about adding another physical defensive into the mix.
Also a lack of attack stats would mean you have to realy on more offensive icons than most other pets. So as a tank, you have to think more icons in attack, rather than defence.
I would also agree with Shattered about your Bow. I would say either
Ramtors Spellbook or even
Scuzzys Comb would be good options to replace that.

What I can say is, just TRAIN. These weapons can actually last until the 85 boost.
