Ok this is totally hypothetical because I just wanted to see what would come of something like this. The whole idea is to build a set for the higher level battle dome 125 boost or so with as few np as possible.

Pet stats:
STR: 125
DEF: 125
HP: 126
LVL: 63
Species: Pteri
Faerie Abilities: ALL

Budget: 50,000 neopoints

2p battle doming, so we're trying to build the best set to get through common 125 boost shields such as ghostkershield, faerie tabard, and be able to defend some common weapons such as PCC, RoTL, etc. Anyways, have some fun with it, be creative Toungue
o_o 50K? Good luck beating Ftab/Gshield/PCC with that o_o Heck, you can't even get a 9-iconer with 50K... o_o
EDIT: I just realised I only paid attention to the specific weapons you mentioned, and not any other popular items, so I guess my suggestion barely scratches the surface...

I'm going to go ahead and assume that most of the weapons I'm going to suggest average at about 5k each, in which case you should be able to get nearly all of them.

Some of the common tactical mono-type and dual-type scrolls would be great for purposes of beating the common high level shields.

Fiery Sun Scroll (for GS)
Scroll of Moon Light (for F-Tab)
Scroll of The Dark Star (for F-Tab)
Scroll Of Dark Nova (for F-Tab)

You'd then want Theif Dagger (or King Kelpbeards Blessing, depending on whether you want more powerful defence, or attack) and Greater Defence Scroll for PCC defence.

And you'd want Theif Dagger and Flaming Oven Gloves for RoTL killing.

I'm not going to bother listing obvious battleset must-haves, like healers and pure attack weapons (at this budget, you'd only be able to get 7-iconers, possibly dual Unstable Slimes, and a Lesser Healing Scroll). I'll just leave it at the shield breaking, and the weapon blocking items.
Only 50k?! If it's 500k it would be possible... But 50k?! Dontkown

My first real advice if there is EVER a scenario like that is to put all 50k into investing. The weapons just won't cut it. If you have the budget to train your pet till it has that sort of stat, earning NPs shouldn't be a problem at all.

However, since this is a hypothetical question I will say this:

With that kind of budget, you would be better off going for an attack oriented set. So forget about shields and defences save for these 3 items:

1) Earthen Scorchstone - takes off a bit of Sword of Skardsen and a bit of Pirate Captain Cutlass. Both not by much though.
2) Scarab Ring
3) Thief Dagger

For item 2 and 3, decide on either one or these two combo:

1) Dual Scarab Rings + 1 Thief Dagger - Substantial physical and fire defence with a bit of light defence. Good against Mask of Coltzan.

1) Dual Thief Daggers + 1 Scarab Ring - Substantial physical and light defence with a bit of fire defence. Good against NQ2 weapons.

Apart from the scrolls Scarblade suggested (Fiery Sun Scroll, Scroll of Moon Light, Scroll of The Dark Star, Scroll Of Dark Nova), adopt dual Lost Desert Wrist Plates to give some unpredictability.

The other noteworthy cheap weapons would include Obsidian Daggers. I would see that to function more as a back up rather than a main weapon, though it can deal 8 icons max.

But perhaps the most powerful way to battle with such a budget would be to use dual muffins, and pray your opponent don't have a good healer Toungue
Like Cadavar said, if you can afford the millions it costs to train to the 125 boost, you would have more than 50k to spend on weapons, under any circumstance. Your average BD's set would be about 10 million so there is no way to beat them with unstable slime and scarab rings :/. I'll list a cheap set though, but no were near 50k.

Ice club
Stone club
Scarab ring
Golden Compass
Patched Magic Hat
Greater Healing Scroll
Downsize!
Snowglobe staff

Even then, this set is lacking power as it has no bomb, reliable freezer and powerful constants.
Actually 50k can be somewhat competitive if you use 1-use items which serve well for a hypothetical situation. I've used a set like this and it was very successful. This is a bit outdated (since I don't keep up with neo anymore) but:

GHS
D!
Jade staff
Slippery floor potion
Steam jug x2
Tortured Snowball x2

Works better than it seems
50k, eh?
Well I guess the saving grace is that the pteri already has air resistence.

I guess go a set that looks like this...
Downsize!
Jittery Jipple Potion
Fiery Sun Scroll (x2)
King Kelpbeards Blessing
Scarab Ring
Ultra Dark Reflectorb
Purple Sticky Hand

I'm pretty sure that's around 50k. I didn't even include a healer because the ones that would be most beneficial to you would take about half the budget. Using regeneration or healing vapor would probably be your best way to heal with your budget. JJP is a nice, cheap 10 iconer that you can find for like 15k assuming your opponent has more than 9 intel or something like that. Dual sun scrolls are probably the only way of getting anything substantial through a G-Shield/F-Tab combo, which aren't fun to go against in the first place. The blessing and ring are your nifty little dual duties. The reflector comes in somewhat handy against a SOS, though the SOS will still come out on top. Though it could be useful if you're at an HP advantage. And that sticky hand is there for the sake of hopefully getting something worthwhile...though chances are you most likely won't.

Blah. That took too long.
Maybe this is why I don't give much advice.
