I was fighting an Elephant with Electricity at NLC, but when it hits me with it's electric stomp, it deals 650 damage Ohmy. Sometimes it would deal only 60 however, 650 is what appears most of the time. This creature only gives 95exp when killed however... that deadly? O_O

Is there a new weakness/resistance element implemented for mages?
Unfortunately, that attack isn't considered a magical Lit attack. Though why any elemental attack in this game isn't magical is beyond me. The 3rd job skills that Mages, Priests and DKs have lower damage taken only from magicial attacks of certain elements. >_>
What I mean is those Elephants only give 95exp and not really that strong, however, they do 650 damage to me O_O. Same goes with the weak giant nependath whose tongue can deal up to 170 damage.

Is there a built-in weakness resistance for mages already? Or are these insane damages just a bug?
They do that much damage to everyone.
Yeah, I noticed that too about the Electrophants...I guess they aren't really that deadly to anybody except mages though, being that we have lower HP than any other class...But yes, I was killed once or twice by them, not realizing how much damage they could do...
An electophant did 900 damage to me on my beginner.

They scare me. (I had 550 HP at the time)
They are deadly to anyone who can't kill them in one hit.
