lol. okay so i decided to get into 2p battling but im super poor from funding my brothers and sisters(little ones) with pb's and stuff.

So im thinking, should i sell my honey potion and be bombless for a while? or what?
Only 1: Scarab Ring. You don't have enough defence to make it effective, unless you are planning to train defence as well. Replace it with a one-use bomb or a third back up 8-9 iconer that does a different set of icons from what your other 2 weapon does (eg Skeletal Fire Gun)

Yeah im working on defense right now with codestones, its just taking a while cuz im labbing it.

Then keep the Scarab Ring for the moment, and think about investing in the following:

Golden Compass
Frozen Wand of Crystals
Patched Magic Hat

with Patched Magic Hat being the least priority, till you get your defense up. The set will allow you to have pretty much all of the defence you need except air.

When you say invest in the following, is that the order in which i should get them?

you should have a defense item other than Downsize!, replace Scarab Ring with Leaf Shield. That's really all for now, save up and keep training and then think about upgrades
alright new thing guys. me and my friend decided to get into 2p battling. and yeah. hes doing good. lol. considering hes twice my lvl/stats and he kills me to a 3:1 ratio.

sooooo couldja guys help me revise my set?
The 2-Player set i'm going to suggest isn't too far off from what you have now. It just needs a few tweaks that's all Big Grin (oh and you can keep the Honey Potion)

1. Leaf Shield (first slot, primary GoC's wont be affected if it is stolen)
2. Thief Dagger (for light and phys defence)
3. Golden Compass (change with EoE, this has nice icons and added dark defence)
4. Golden Compass (change with Ice Club, this has nice icons and added dark defence)
5. Steaming Skeem Potion (11 iconer, but make sure your opponent meets the intel req.)
6. Honey Potion
7. Downsize!
8. Blue Scorchstone
SDB: Purple Sticky Hand, Snowglobe Staff, Scarab Ring

Make absolutely certain that you train defence (equal to strength boost) to get the most out of this set. Switch up your weapons depending on what your opponent dishes out.

Also, dont feel bad that you're friend is beating you Toungue if he is actually twice your stats, and if he has similiar or better weapons, it's really no surprise. I would stick to fighting at around your level, oh! and make sure you ask for no freeze Toungue Good luck!
. . . .dangit. i sold my honey potion. T_T
Well, for the price of 800 odd K, there isn't too much you can swap with honey potion, the only thing you could try to do is probably get rid of snowglobe staff, and try to play without a freezer? And use the likes of Scuzzys Comb and Ramtors Spellbook but my personal recommendation would be to get the honey potion asap! Also, when you save yourself up a bit of np you might want to upgrade that snowglobe staff to a Black Frost Cannon. I've recently had to fight with rubbish weapons so i've tried out both and really snowglobe staff seems to break more than it freezes!

As to your friend beating you all the time, there isn't that much you can do except training and possibily getting weapons to match theirs! Or maybe if your friend has a certain weapon they use quite often you could concentrate on defending that?

Same thing I said in my other suggestion: never double anything unless you can be sure it can deal a substantial amount of icons that can get through MOST shields or dual duties. Also, let the other weapons in your set have a differnt set of icons if you choose to have a double weapon route.

I agree with Yoz; get back that Honey Potion! There is absolutely no immediate replacement within that price range, so that should stay in your set.

I am sticking to my suggestion, apart from suggesting to you to pay attention to the wepons he has and consider some countermeasures. Beyond that, you HAVE to train.
