So who's getting this game? I loved the first two Primes, and I have this one pre-ordered.
The trailer from the channel you download looks AMAZING.

I actually wasn't very impressed (graphically) by the trailers, though. Is there a demo for it out? 'cause the EB near me has the game out for play (which, oddly, looked better to me than the demos, but 480 progressive shouldn't be making that much of a difference over 480 interlaced, should it?).
I'm not a graphics junkie, so the graphics weren't really what I was looking at
And I have no idea how 480p vs. 480i would look.

Man It was about time for the Wii to get a decent game, I'd pick it right now.. If I weren't european. But as soon as it gets here, I'm 100% sure about picking it up. Prime 1 & 2 were awesome, despite the control issues, and this is the last one in the Prime series. My only fear is it being too short.
I like the prime series (even Prime Hunters despite being a bit dissapointing) but now they only need to make a new 2D metroid for the Ds (Dread?) and they can just wait for the money to fall right into their heads. My money, at least.
And another 2D Metroid would be amazing.cooldude42192 Wrote:Yeah, Hunters was a disappointment.I wouldn't really call it a spoiler, but to continue off-topic for a moment...
"Lol, let's have two bosses, and repeat them 4 times each!"
I beat the final boss on my friend's game, and I'm up to it on mine, so I've "technically" beat it...
Now to cajole someone into buying a Wii and the game so I can get Friend Vouchers...
I was so surprised when I actually beat her, lol.
), and it has little to no replay value (unless you don't suck terribly at the multiplayer, unlike me
). Although to be fair, none of the games have amazing replay value really... With the possible exception of Zero Mission. Sequence breaking + speedruns = much better replay value than a "linear" game.
. Aside from the War Golem bit, since I don't think there's any way of knowing that's a boss until you fight it (unlike with the others).
