Prerequisite Information

cleverjohn's strength : 203 = 200 strength boost = 4.5x multiplier
cleverjohn's stance : Always Cautious = 1.0x multiplier
Inflatable Balthazar's stance : Always Jump and Attack = 1.3x multiplier

All attacks follow the format below :



Visible Icons

Mean : 5.15
Median : 5

Damage Based

4 Icons

19 Damage : 8
21 Damage : 14
23 Damage : 7
Mean : 20.93
Median : 21
Mode : 21

When it does full icons , damage = 4 * 4.5 * 1.3 = 23.4 ~ 23

5 Icons

Frequency

24 Damage : 10
26 Damage : 11
28 Damage : 6
Mean : 25.70
Median : 26
Mode : 26

When it does full icons , damage = 5 * 4.5 * 1.3 = 29.25 ~ 29

It never does full icons at 5 icons?

6 Icons

Frequency

30 Damage : 7
31 Damage : 10
33 Damage : 10
35 Damage : 17
Mean : 32.84
Median : 33
Mode : 35

When it does full icons , damage = 5 * 4.5 * 1.3 = 35.4 ~ 35


I don't know how to investigate further , please help ! i.e. finding the range of damage and average damage

I think you mean

6 * 4.5 * 1.3 * 1.0 = 35.1

Range
Minimum = 3.248 icons of actual damage ( 19 / 4.5 / 1.3 /1.0 )
Maximum = 5.983 icons of actual damage ( 35 / 4.5 /1.3 /1.0 )

although those may not be precisely accurate due to rounding. (It sure looks like a max of 6 full icons is being rounded down from 35.1 to 35)

Average:

2746 total damage over 100 trials = 27.46 damage
27.46 / 4.5 / 1.3 / 1.0 = 4.694 average damage based icons

So unless later testing shows the defense to be fractional it averages over 10 total combined icons.

99% correct Toungue

Overall , this is a neat weapon Toungue Although I was startled when I saw those fractional icons .

Maybe someone with a stronger pet can test the actual damage better .

Yes Ohmy so the calculation is way harder .

Add this test onto iDB ?
