I have been wondering this for a long while. I haven't done many 2-p battles so far, but so far 3 accounts that I battled have already been frozen. I probably only battled 20 pets, but in just a couple of months after battling, three accounts got frozen! Anybody knows why?
Moved to Neopets General (zomg I modded!!!)
Well...your wording is a bit ambiguous, and without giving the reason for freezing that TNT supplied, it's harder to guess, but it seems like you would have been frozen for multiing if you had three separate accounts that you used regularly.

As for the general question, I have a few theories. Either restockers and BDers are frozen just as often as the general population, but because the best-known players are almost exclusively restockers and BDers, it's much more noticeable whenever one of them gets frozen. Or, they get frozen for spamming or other board-related activites, and again, whenever someone on the boards gets frozen, it's much more noticeable. Or, in the case of restockers, since there are several ways to cheat (disabling Javascript, blocking images, using programs), more users than average are dishonest, and therefore, more users than average get frozen (and more honest users are mistaken for using cheats). And of course, with restockers, there's always that great fact that getting mass-reported does indeed automatically get you frozen (at least, it did last I checked), meaning that anyone who boasts about an impressive rsing accomplishment runs the risk of getting labeled as a cheater and subsequently frozen.

Actually I didn't get frozen, but I some of the people I battled did, though I won't tell for their privacy.
...Okay, your wording was even more ambiguous than I thought it was Toungue

Yeah, that really isn't all too surprising. If you're only looking at people you've battled, and not any other sample of the general population, you actually have no idea whether battlers are more or less likely than normal users to get frozen. You also don't know if those users self-froze, fell for a scam, or cheated in some way that was completely unrelated to the Battledome.

True, but nearly all battledomers around my stats are multi-millionaires. I find it absurd for a multi-millionaire to just self-freeze an account. I did have one theory, that lots of BDers are restockers, and restockers DO get rich fairly quickly, so TNT might accuse them of cheating. Also, most millionaires don't fall for a scam.
I think it's just because a lot of the rich players are more likely targets to freezings.
1. Sometimes if they're rich, it's because they cheated =freeze
2. Usually rich players are legit-
a) better target for hackers
b) like to seek attention (oops I swore on BDC)=freeze

i guess it's also that you notice more when rich people get frozen
