Freezer:
Snowglobe Staff or
Rainbow Frost Cannon or
Black Frost Cannon you don't have species freezers available to you and you don't have the budget for a 100% freezer, so you choice is to go for the cheap and lousy option or pay a lot more for the mediocre options. In 2p, I'd say go for the BFC, but for 1p, withdraw, heal and restart is viable so you can manage with Snowglobe. If it is a really important fight, you can snag a
Scroll of Freezing or other fragile freezer.
Healer:
For now
Blue Scorchstone is the obvious choic.When you to about 60-70 HP, you should upgrade to
Greater Healing Scroll. At about 100-120 HP, you may wish to consider
Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic. Above that, you'll either be short on healing, or you'll need to pay a lot more to step up to
Crisp Blue Tunic or
Bag of Healing Dust.
Offensive multiuse:
Since you are doing 1p with a pet below 200 strength, dual
Prickly Potions are a must. Against strong opponents they will outdamage anything else you can get, and more than half the weapons you can only dream about. Of course you'll also want weapons for the weaker opponents, any of the standard 9-10 iconers will fit nicely in your range. Consider any combination of these:
Ice Club,
Stone Club,
Psellias Fighting Fan,
Pike Pike[idb], [idb]Essence of Esophagor,
Golden Compass,
Scuzzys Comb,
Staff of Righteous Fury,
Ramtors Spellbook).
As a cheapskate alternative, you are still at stats where the multihealing of
Fighting Folder is meaningful, consider that if the budget gets tight.
Bomb:
While not cheap,
Honey Potion is a must within your budget. In tough and/or important matches you may also wish to spend for single use and fragile bombs, such as
Chocolate Chip Battle Biscuit,
Shooting Star Muffin and/or
Ultranova.
Defense:
You don't yet have enough of a defense boost for icon based defense to matter against any opponent against which you'll need it. Get a
Downsize! and a
Winged Scarab for your current defense options. Also make sure you have the faerie abilities Sink, Burrow, Drain Life and possibly Quench. Against individual opponents you may wish to use a 50% fragile reflector - notably
Shovel Plus is strong against commander Garoo and
Double Dryer is good against the Black Pteri and Giant Ghostkerchief . As a potential future upgrade, keep an eye on the price of
Illusens Silver Shield - full earth blocking is strong against many 1p opponents.
Other:
Purple Sticky Hand is a bargain that is absolutely genius against many 1p opponents. Sabre-X, The Black Pteri, and GHM Chomby all pack full blcokers in their first slot, stealing those can get you a number of additional wins against those opponents.
