When will they make another Meridell war? I did not participate in the last one.
Right now TNT (The neopets team) seem to not be doing wars at all. Instead they are making plots that include puzzles and battledome opponents. It is a great dissapointment to all the battledome community because everyone has been hoping for a new war for a very long time.

The fact is that we must not get our hopes up as we doubt TNT will release another war. But if they do, it will most likely not be in Meridell.

It's actually Viacom. Think about it, Viacom bought neopets in June 2005. The last war, COM, ended in June 2005. TNT was actually into making wars, but viacom decided to put work into flash games and puzzle plots, which I hate. But it's true, if there is a war it is likely not in meridell.
Let's have war against Viacom then. XD
I hope we get a war, maybe we should contact them?

the only problem is 1 opinion isn't enough to matter and they said in an editorial that asking questions multiple times or in gangs will make it likely to be ignored because it is rude. Question The best we're gonna get is a few challengers on the side in plots, and if there is another war it probably won't be in meridell. Also it was a big disspointment when they didn't count the points from the BD challengers in the lost isle plot. Cry
I doubt that they will listen to us. We have been asking for a war for a long time now and we still don't have one. its unfortunate but Neopets has expanded to an amplitude where they only care about getting more users and money. They don't really care for the average battledomer anymore because we do not constitute a majority of neopets users. (Although i do believe that we constitute amoung the richest and most active users.)
I want a challenge! Like Razul.
The Neovia plot also featured some BD challengers. They counted the points, however, it's not a full scale war. Lost Isle was a disappointment since the BD challengers did not give out plot points at all. Hopefully, it will be when the plot would be continued (most likely it will despite TNT's words).

And yeah, I miss the classic wars Sad
I keep hearing the 'TNT doesn't care about anybody' thing all the time, but has anyone ever thought how hard it is to keep everybody happy? I mean millions and millions of people coming together at one place, and you'd have to care for every one of them. The way I see it, they're just trying to keep as many people happy as they can, which means they'll have to choose the middle ground most of the time.

It's a lose/lose situation for TNT anyway. If they do make a new war-plot, the non-battling population will be angry. If they make a puzzle-plot, the battledomers are the angry ones. I think they also said something about once having a war and puzzle plot which were seperate from each other yet simultaneously about the same story? Anywayz, that turned out too hard to manage, so I'm guessing we'll only see the combo-plots like the last couple of plots.
The thing is, the most active, richest population is predominately battlers, so you'd think they'd do more for us during plots than just throw a few half-worthless opponents at us and call it good. For that matter, a good chunk of that same non-battling population is also too young or...lacking in mental prowess...to use the boards/easily figure out puzzles. How does giving us plots where anyone can just post on the boards "OMG i ned hlp plz do mi puzle 4 mee" make much of anyone happy? Granted, they really improved on that with the Lost Isle plot, but that's a first. And it made all those people who couldn't figure out their puzzles on their own rather unhappy. Choosing the middle ground usually leaves everyone unsatisfied, so why don't they do the logical thing and go back to their old pattern of alternating full-scale wars and massive puzzles?
