I was thinking about the weapon combo: Brilliant Wing Amulet and Thief Dagger.

BWA: Does 3 air icons and blocks 3 air and 3 earth icons.

TD: Does 3 earth icons and 1 physical icon plus two physical icons. Blocks 3 light and 3 physical.

Although when you use this combo, you will be doing very little icons, it can block quite a few common weapons in 2p.

Reduced weapons:
Ice club: 3 air, 3 water, 3 physical = 3 water
Stone club: 3 air, 3 earth, 3 physical = Fully blocked
Golden Compass: 3 air, 3 light, 3 fire = 3 fire
Makeshift Ships Hammer: 2 air, 3 earth, 3 physical = Fully Blocked
Scuzzys Comb: 5 light, 5 physical = 2 light, 2 physical (entirely on thief dagger)
Earth Faerie Slingshot: 3 air,3 light, 1 physical plus 2 physical = Fully Blocked
Psellias Fighting Fan: 3 air, 3 light, 3 physical: Fully Blocked
Earth Faerie Bow: 2 fire, 2 air, 3 earth, 1 physical plus 1 physical = 2 fire
Enchanted Wooden Bow:2 fire, 2 air, 3 light, 1 physical plus 1 physical (fractional) = 2 fire.
Battle Ready Pencil Box: 3 earth, 2 light and 2 physical = Fully Blocked
Fighting Folder: 3 fire, 2 earth, 1 physical plus 1 physical = 3 fire

Does anyone think it is a combo worth using?

By only using Brilliant Wing Amulet and Thief Dagger you aren't getting much of an attack in. If your opponent has sink/burrow, you are just as screwed as they are. That's assuming that they even have one of the eleven weapons you listed. There are plenty of other popular weapons that get past the defense of those two items. And if they have two stone clubs they will be ahead of you, fully blocking the first one and the second one gets through.

possibly for a talk style player in the low ranks of tournament battling? For the times your not to use the enchanted crystal apple?

The combination of the two weapons block a weapon, but what about the second weapon? at that level, they surely have another 8~9 icon weapon, which evens out your attack...

Sadly only if you have a defense boost advantage over their strength boost and are reasonably sure that the opponent's budget doesn't allow for anything better than 9 iconers.

I'm seeing too many 35 boost pets with Sword of Skardsen :mad: lately to call this a "good" combo, but for the cost it's decent.

BWA does cover your bases while you Sink and Thief Dagger + GoC (or another dark blocker) can cover you while you Burrow.
