I need to find a good non race specific healing item. My pet is a laboratory pet.

What is your budget? I would suggest Greater Healing Scroll, but if you have a ton of NP, Rainbow Scorchstone could be an option.

I think I will go with the Scroll, Rainbow is way out of my budget, but a possibility later down the road. Thanks

Good grief! Cadaver Grey's rating of it sums up all we have to say about the Rainbow Scorchstone really, don't touch it with a ten foot pole!

Greater Healing Scroll is quite evidently the best option, even though you've technically outgrown it with 50% Species Healers healing more. The Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic is an option though the price is a little steep, and the Bag of Healing Dust is probably what you'll be looking to in the long term, though price-wise, I'd really recommend morphing for a species healer (Gelert!). Your lab situation is understandable though. Personally, I've got a good enough grasp on reality to avoid aspiring towards the Leaded Elemental VialBig Grin, but if you can get there someday...

.

That would be good, but the intelligence you need to get (500) to use it will take quite a long time to get.
Like Cadaver Grey's opinion on the GHS (he loves healing if we quote him that much! Wink), "its next upgrade is either meant for specific species (eg Gelert Healing Remedy), overpriced (eg Rainbow Scorchstone), require intelligence (eg Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic), or cost (quite rightfully) in the millions (eg Bag of Healing Dust)." Gelert Healing Remedy is out of the question because of the lab. Like I said, Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic needs WAY too much intelligence for it to be the next upgrade, and if you can't afford a RSS, then Bag of Healing Dust is also crossed off the list. Even though I agree Rainbow Scorchstone is one of the worst (if not the worst ) healers, but it seems the only upgrade from Greater Healing Scroll.

You DO realize, that with the use of book check-lists, 500 Intelligence can be attained very quickly, and at a relatively low cost. I understand to a degree where you're coming from, but it's not particularly well-founded. The Rainbow Scorchstone should not be recommended under ANY circumstances.

EDIT: Grammar...Ohmy

Not only that, other means of Intelligence-gaining can be had, including Faerie Crosswords, Faerie Quests and even the Sticky Hand - Scroll Potion trick if you have a willing friend. In fact, if morphing/labbing to a Gelert, Lenny, Kacheek or Elephante sounds reasonable, they all have 50% healers, except the 33.3%/66.6% Kacheek Life Potion. Just in case you ever want to stop labbing.

As a truly last resort, Velms Healing Potion is fine if you have suicidally high HP and battle STRICTLY 1-P. Not now, since 110 * 10% = Slime Potion level.

Add Cliffhanger to that list. It's my preferred choice actually, seeing as the Winter REs yield some VERY nice prizes. And then there's the Snow Beast for the poor chaps who still haven't found him.

And if your friend WAS willing, then there'd be no need for any Sticky Hand trick, he'd just lend you the Scroll Pot itself. Toungue 'Snot a single use item, after all. Nasty thing though, I still wouldn't recommend it.

Shouldn't bunch the Lenny with those others, unlike them, you don't morph to a Lenny for the healer. And VHP is just... wow. Then again, rabid's still using one, I believe, and healing is supposedly unimportant for 1-P if your HP gets that high...
